An Admission Committee of the university steers the management of the admission process. The Admission Committee will be responsible for conduct of the entrance test, declaration of results, counseling and final admission to the courses.

Mode of Entrance Test
The AIET 2008 will be of three hours duration.
There will be one question paper at the Entrance Test in English medium containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs), 50 each in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each correct answer carries one mark.
There is no negative marking. Other details regarding model question paper, specimen answer sheet, method of making answers etc. are given separately in this prospectus. However, syllabus can be downloaded from the University website.
Date and Time of AIET 2008
The AIET 2008 will be conducted on
Sunday, 20th April 2008 from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm at the appointed centres.
Eligibility Criteria for Appearing at AIET 2008
Candidates satisfying the following criteria shall be eligible to appear for AIET 2008.
1. Candidates must be Indian National.
The Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate / Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid Passport shall constitute proof of Nationality.
2. The candidate must be either 17 years of age or attain this age as on 31.12.2008 (i.e. the candidate should not have been born after 31.12.1991)
3. Candidate should have passed H.S.C. (10+2) or equivalent examination from a Recognized Board with English securing minimum 50% marks (40% for all categories of backward class students) in the aggregate of the subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) for admission to MBBS / BDS/BAMS / Diploma in GNM courses.
The Backward class candidates must attach copy of the Caste Certificate and Caste Verification Certificates along with the application.
Candidate desirous of getting admitted to BAMS course should tick the appropriate box in the application form.
Candidates who have appeared for H.S.C. or equivalent examination and whose results will be declared before the dates of Counseling will also be eligible to appear at AIET 2008.
