Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should

be registered for Ph.D. at the Institute
have 55% (50% for SC/ST) for Masters in the relevant discipline
be below 28 years of age

Scholarship Details Number of Scholarships: 8–10

Duration: 3 years

Value Rs.6000 pm

Contingency Rs.12000 pa

Selection Procedure Pass in a written exam (in English and in the discipline chosen) and do well in the interview

Notification & Deadline Second week of May of each year

Notification and Deadline Notified through leading English dailies in March/April. Deadline as per the notification.
