Research Studentships: The Studentships are offered worldwide at PhD level for maximum period of three years, renewable annually subject to satisfactory progress.
Subject: There is no restriction with regard to subject.
Eligibility: Open to students who have not been undergraduate members of the College. Applicants must be graduates, with a good academic record, or a university in the UK or elsewhere. Studentship is-only given to those who nominate Peterhouse as their College of first preference in the CIGAS Form (A) available from the Board (4 Mill Lane, Cambridge CB2 1 RZ).
Age: 25 years as on 1st December. Prospective candidates over this age limit should write to the Senior Tutor explaining why they believe that their candidature should be considered; in certain circumstances (e.g. where an applicant's academic career has been interrupted) allowances may be made.
Value: £ 4,720 per annum together with direct payment of certain approved fees. The value will, however, be determined after considering the successful candidate's income from other studentships and similar sources.
