Hector Pilling Scholarship

One scholarship is offered to Commonwealth countries for study towards BA, advanced degree or diploma for one year in the first instance, renewable for two further years.

Subject: Unrestricted.

Eligibility: Open to graduates of universities in the Commonwealth. Preference will be given to applicants who are serving or have served in the Royal Air Force or in the Air Force of a Commonwealth country or to the children or dependents of such persons, but this qualification is not essential.

Value: Approximately equivalent to a Rhodes Scholarship, with College room for first year.

Corpus Christi College Garside Senior Scholarship: One scholarship is offered worldwide at Research level for two years in the first instance, with the possibility of renewal for a third year.

Subject: Mathematics.

Eligibility: Applicants of sufficient merit, should have already been accepted by the University and Corpus Christi College, for a research degree.

Value: £1,500 per annum, plus some dining rights.

Lincoln College Keith Murray Senior Scholarship: One scholarship is offered for countries outside the UK and the EU countries at Higher degree for three years.

Subject: Unrestricted.

Eligibility: Graduates from any university outside the UK and other European Union countries intending to embark upon a course of postgraduate study leading to a higher degree at Lincoln College in the University of Oxford. Applicants should show intellectual promise, evidence of extra-mural activities and/or interests, a balanced capacity to participate in an contribute to the community life of the College. Preference will normally be given to candidates who have not previously held a graduate scholarship.

St. Catherine's College Graduate Scholarship: 1 scholarship is offered for countries outside the UK and other EU countries for higher degree for two years in the first instance.

Subject: Unrestricted.

Eligibility: Applicants should have completed a course at a recognized university with an upper second class degree or its equivalent and must be accepted as a graduate student by the University of Oxford. The award is restricted to graduates who are not citizens of a European Union member state.

Value: £1,500 per annum.
