The OMR application form, along with an INFORMATION BROCHURE containing General Instructions for filling up the application form, Commission's "Instructions etc., to candidates", and an envelope for sending application can be obtained from any one of the HEAD POST OFFICES in Tamil Nadu or from the Head Post Office, Pondicherry or from the post office of Lalgudi or Virudhachalam on payment of Rs.30/- (Rupees Thirty only) (The list showing the names of such Post Offices is also available on the internet in the Commission's Website
www.tnpsc.org).
The application forms can also be obtained in person from the sales counter of the office of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission,
Omanthoorar Government Estate, Chennai - 600 002 till 5-15 p.m. on
the closing date without lunch interval, on requisition in writing
either in English or in Tamil specifying the name of the Post,
Serial Number and Advertisement number with a Crossed Indian Postal
Order or Crossed Account Payee Demand Draft to the value of Rs.30/-
(Rupees Thirty only) obtained on or after 01-09-2006. The
application forms will not be sent to the candidates by post.
The Crossed Indian Postal Orders should be payable
to "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Chennai-600
002" at the Anna Salai Post Office, Chennai-600 002.
The Crossed Account Payee Demand Draft obtained from any branch of the State Bank of India should be payable to the Secretary, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Chennai-600 002 at the State Bank of India, Service Branch (8443) Chennai. If it has been obtained from any other bank it should be payable to the above authority, Chennai.
