The Rule of reservation of appointment by direct recruitment applies to each post separately.
10% of vacancies of 30% vacancies set apart for women candidates in direct recruitment are reserved for Destitute Widows, who possess the prescribed qualifications for appointment to any post in pay scales the minimum of which does not exceed Rs.4000/- under the State Government. If no qualified and suitable Destitute Widow is available the turns so set apart for Destitute Widow shall go to the women belonging to the respective communal category.
5% of vacancies shall be set apart for Ex-servicemen pending issue of amendment to General Rules by the Government
Explanation:
The term "Destitute Widow" has been defined in the 'Note' under paragraph 4 (A) of the Commission's "Instructions etc. to candidates" the monthly income for Destitute Widow prescribed there in shall be read as Rs.4000/- instead of Rs.1000/-
If no qualified and suitable women candidates are available for selection, those vacancies will be filled by male candidates belonging to the respective communal category.
If no qualified and suitable PH candidates are available for selection against 3% reservation, the vacancies will be filled by the candidates who are not physically handicapped belonging to the respective communal category.
Exercising Of Option:
The candidates are required to indicate against column 23 of the OMR application, the order of preference of posts to which they wish to be considered for allotment.
The selection will be made on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates at the written Examination subject to the rule of reservation of appointments and the posts options exercised by the candidates. However, the Commission reserves the right to allot any candidate to any post having regard to his/her position in the ranking list subject to availability of vacancies and rule of reservation of appointments.
