The Ali Yavar Jung National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped graded as an excellent Institute by the Rehabilitation Council of India, imparts professional training of international recognition, in the area of Audiology, Speech - Language Pathology and Special Education (Hearing Impairment). It also provides clinical & rehabilitation services for persons with hearing impairment and communication disorders and is engaged in research and developmental activities.

For B.Ed.(HI) at AYJNIHH, Mumbai and AYJNIHH, Kolkata entrance examination will be held at both the centers. Candidates appearing for final year degree in 2008 can also apply.
Admission to B.ASLP course at SRC, Secunderabad will be made on merit basis.
For Ph.D. programme in Audiology and Speech - Language Pathology at Mumbai, B.ASLP and M.ASLP at AYJNIHH SRC, Secunderabad and BASLP at AYJNIHH, NRC, New Delhi the advertisement will be released separately.
