Admission 2008

The Ali Yavar Jung National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped graded as an Excellent Institute by the Rehabilitation Council of India, imparts Professional Training in the area of Audiology Speech Language Pathology and Special Education (Hearing Impairment).

It also provides clinical and rehabilitation services for the needy.

Applications are invited for admission to the academic year 2008-09 for the following courses:

02	Master in Audiology Speech Pathology	10	2 yrs	i) Bachelor in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology or any equivalent degree recognized by the respective Universities and RCI ii) Internship mandatory for candidates who have completed Bachelor in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology after 2001	Selection is based on Entrance examination conducted by Osmania University. Admissions will be subject to recognition of RCI.

The prescribed application forms and prospectus can be obtained at above address in person or by post on payment of Rs.500/- for general category and Rs.300/-for SC/ST or PH by way of Demand Draft in favour of "The Assistant Director, AYJNIHH, Secunderabad" payable at Secunderabad, from the date of this notification.
The last date for Sale and submission of applications is 30.5.2008 and the application received after the last date will not be entertained.
Candidates awaiting for results can also apply.
50% of the Seats are filled on merit basis (including AP candidates). 50% of the Seats reserved for local candidates and SC/ST, OBC & PH as per Govt, rules.
The convener appointed by Osmania University will conduct the entrance examination for M.Sc, ASLP course and the date & Fee will be intimated later
Courses are affiliated to Osmania University.
