Delhi Institute of Heritage Research & Management (DIHRM), established by the Goverment, of NCT of Delhi and affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, is a unique institution in India devoted to study, conserve and preserve the heritage.

Archaeological monuments, arts and crafts, oral and written literature, living traditions, natural features and environment are all part of our heritage. Collectively, it is the past that we have a responsibility to safeguard for the future. Our solemn responsibility is to respect, cherish and preserve it.

The Institute aims at training professionals who could study, view, conserve and preserve the Heritage holistically. to achieve this goal, DIHRM conducts Master's Courses in Heritage Management.

Applications are invited for the admission to the following courses:

1 Name of Courses:
Master in Archaeology and Heritage Management

Master in Conservation, Preservation and Heritage Management

2 Duration of Course Two years

3 Eligibility Graduate (3 years degree course) in any subject of Humanities or Sciences (Those appearing in III year final exam, can also apply)

4 Commencement of Session 3rd August, 2009

5 Number of Seats: 30 in each course

6 a) Last date for sale and submission of completed application 10th July 2009

b) Date of entrance test 17th July 2009

Reservation of seats in admission shall be in accordance with the Rules of G.G.S. Indraprastha University as detailed in our prospectus for various categories and 3% for persons with disabilities.

The prescribed application forms specifying the course applied (with the information brochure containing details of eligibility, schedule of test, prescribed courses, etc.) can be had from the Accountant of the Institute on payment of Rs.150/- in cash or Rs.175/- in form of Demand Draft in favour of "Delhi Institute of Heritage Research & Management" to be sent by post to "DIHRM" payable on any nationalized bank at Delhi.
