1. M. Tech. (Energy Management) - Distance Education

A DEC (Distance Education Council, IGNOU, New Delhi approved Program Mainly for Working Engineers, Teachers of Engineering Colleges, Prospective Energy Auditors & Energy Managers with Special Provision for P.G. Advance Diploma in Energy Auditing after completion of three semesters.

P rogram Theme: Energy Auditing Techniques, Energy Conservation (Thermal & Electrical Systems), Renewable Energy Systems and related Environmental Issues incorporating the accreditation requirements of Energy Managers and Energy Auditors of Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Govt, of India) as per Energy Conservation Act' 2001.

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. (Physics, Electronics, Agriculture, Instrumentation, Mathematics & Energy, Post Graduation Diploma in Energy Management), with minimum 55% marks.

2. M. Tech. (Energy Management) - Regular

An AICTE approved Program for GATE Qualified and Sponsored Candidates.

Program Theme: Renewable Energy Systems, Energy Auditing and Energy Conservation and related Environmental issues incorporating the Accreditation requirements of Bureau of Energy Efficiency pertaining to Energy Conservation Act' 2001 for Energy Auditors and Energy Managers.

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc.(Physics) or equivalent. Engineering Association Examination with Min. 55% Marks.

No. of Seats: 13 for GATE Qualified Candidates, 5 for Sponsored Candidates* Scholarships: For GATE Qualified Students.

Date of Interview: 2nd July 2008.

3. M. Phil. (Energy and Environment):

A U.G.C. approved Program dealing mainly with Energy and Environmental linkages.

Program Theme: Clean Energy Use & Production, Environment Audit & Impact Assessment, Pollution Sources & its Abatement and Waste Management.

Eligibility: Post graduate degree in Environmental Science or Energy

For Program No. 1: Application in the following format should be sent at the above address alongwith DD of Rs.500/- in favour of "M.Tech. Energy Management -Distance Education", payable at Indore.

For Program No.2 and 3 : Application forms can be obtained from the School by sending a crossed DD of Rs.300/- in favour of "Registrar, DAW", payable at Indore alongwith a self addressed A4 size envelope affixed with stamp of Rs.50/- Only short listed candidates will be called for interview to be held as per schedule given above.

The completed forms should accompany DD of appropriate amount as per above instructions.
