Admission To M.Pharm / M.Sc. (Nursing)

M.P.T. Courses In Government / Self - Financing Colleges In Tamil Nadu For 2008-2009 Session

1. Application forms for the above courses will be available from 22.04.2008 to 30.04.2008 (upto 3.00 P.M.) on a written request addressed to the Deans of either

Madras Medical College, Chennai-3.
Madurai Medical College, Madurai-20.

in person with a Crossed Demand Draft for RS.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) drawn in favour of the Secretary, Selection Committee, Chennai - 600 010 from any branch of a Nationalised Bank, payable at Chennai and should not be dated earlier than 20.04.2008. Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates are exempted from payment of fees for the application forms subject to production of an attested Xerox copy of community certificate.

2. Candidate should be a citizen of India and a native of Tamil Nadu.

3. The candidates who have joined M.Pharm / M.Sc.(N) / M.P.T. courses in any other discipline and discontinued the course on any grounds are eligible to apply only after a period of two years from the date of discontinuance of the course.

4. Candidates who have graduated from other Universities have to produce the eligibility Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for selection.

5. Age : Applicants should not have exceeded 50 years of age as on 01.05.2008.

6. Service candidates who have not completed three years of continuous Service as on 01.05.2008 are not eligible to apply.

7. Detailed information regarding eligibility, mode of selection, college etc., are available in the Prospectus to be supplied along with the application or in the website mentioned below.

8. Application forms can also be downloaded from the Website http://www.tnhealth.org. and can be submitted along with Demand Draft for Rs.1,000 (Rupees One thousand only) drawn in favour of the Secretary, Selection Committee, Chennai-10 before the last date specified. SC / ST candidates are exempted from the payment of cost of application fee.

9. Filled up application along with enclosures should reach on or before 30.04.2008 by 5.00 p.m
