Directorate of Medical Education Admission 2009 Diploma in Nursing Course

OC, BC, BCM, and MBC / DC Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary conducted by the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary State Board / any other equivalent Board with aggregate marks of 40% in any subjects (excluding Tamil and English) are eligible to apply.

5% relaxation is permitted to SC / SCA / ST candidates.

Candidates should have studied Tamil as the First Language and English as the Second Language.

Candidates requiring the Application and Prospectus for Diploma in Nursing Course for 2009 - 10 Session can obtain the same on payment of Crossed Demand Draft for Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only) drawn in favour of the following Nursing Training Centres:

SC / SCA / ST candidates are exempted from the payment of the cost of application on production of attested copy of community certificate.

Application and Prospectus also can be obtained from the website www.tnhealth.org, www.tn.gov.in and submitted to the Selection Committee along with Crossed Demand Draft for Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only) drawn in favour of the following address:

Sale of Application at the respective training centres.
From 13.11.2009 10.30 am to 23.11.2009 upto 3.00 pm.

The women Candidates who desire to get the application through Post, can obtain the applications at any of the Training Centres only mentioned in Para (3) by sending the postal stamps to the value of Rs.70/- (Rupees seventy only) with self - addressed envelope along with the Demand Draft for Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only) being the cost of application, drawn in favour of the Secretary, Selection Committee, Chennai - 10.

SC / SCA / ST candidates need not send the Demand Draft, but they have to send attested copy of community certificate.
