off-Campus for Special Programmes of MA/Ph.D/M.Phil/D.Phil/D.Lit

In order to promote advanced Research in Dravidian Studies and related areas, Dravidian University is offering PG, M.Phil, D.Phil, Ph.D, D.Litt., PG Diploma linked PG Programmes and Other programmes through Off - Campus mode in Dravidian Languages, History, Philosophy and Culture and Indian civilization in general with emphasis on comparative and interdisciplinary approaches.

The programmes are designed specially to cater to the Academic enthusiasm of scholars with a footing of their own in their specialized fields of knowledge and wish to continue their research pursuits.

Applications are invited for the following courses:

1.M.A.. In Translation Studies

Eligibility:

Any Graduate with 50% of marks.
Those who are doing their P.G. are also eligible for appearing for the first year examination in their second year.

2. P.G . Diploma Linked MA Programme In Translation Studies

Eligibility:

(1) Any Graduate with 50% of marks.

3. M.Phil In Translation Studies

Eligibility:

(1) Any Post Graduate with 50% of marks.

4.Ph.D.In Translation Studies

Eligibility:

PG. with 50%marks and Two published Research articles OR
M.Phil with 50%of marks:

5. D.Phil In Translation Studies

Eligibility:

Any Post Graduate with 50% marks
At least five years of experience in teaching or relevant area.
Published work of translation of not less than 200 pages

6. D.Phil (General).

Eligibility:

M.A. in concerned subject.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching or in any other relevant area, and
Aminimum of five published articles in recognized research journals OR one research work of not less than 200 pages.

7. D.Litt

Eligibility:

Ph.D in concerned Subject and
A minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching or in any other related area and
A minimum 20 published articles in recognized research journals OR two research works of not less than 200 pages each otherthan Ph.D.

Further details of the Courses, eligibility criteria, fees and Application Proforma can be had from the University website: www.dravidianuniversity.ac.in and enclose a DD Rs.100/- OR from the Director, SDCE on payment of Rs.200/-through DD drawn in favour of "The Dean, SDCE, Dravidian University, Kuppam preferably on Andhra Bank or Indian Bank.
