Admission 2009

Applications are invited from the candidates for admission to the Basic Year Training courses of duration One year in Electrical & Electronics group of trades under "Restructured Pattern of Craftsmen Training Scheme" for the year 2009-2010 commencing from September 2009 at this Institute.

The admission for the above trades will be made purely on merit basis of their Educational Qualification as shown at para - 2 - below.

Further, on successful completion of the above one year training course, the trainees could specialize in any one of the following modules (one year duration) in their II year Course.

Modules-II Year Courses

Duration: 1 year

1. Industrial Electrician.
2. Industrial Electronics Control.
3. Audio Video Electronics.
4. Process Control Instrumentation.
5. Automobile Electrical & Electronics Systems.
6. Refrigeration & Air-conditioning systems.

Educational Qualification: A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent examination with the sujects of science(Physics & Chemistry) and Mathematics, from a recognized School/ Institution/College.

Age: Between 14 and 40 as on 1st September 2009. Relaxsble for certain categories such as SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, war widows, as per Government, of India Rules.

Fees:

1. Tuition fess of Rs. 100/-per month per trainee.
2. 2. Caution deposit (Refundable) Rs.250/- For the entire.
3. 3. Library deposit (Refundable) Rs.25/- period of training. This may be revised from time to time according to Orders from Govt, of India, DGET Headquarters at New Delhi.

Accommodation: Limited Hostel facility is available for only male students at this Institute Campus and the Hostel Rent will be Rs.10- per month/per head & Hostel Caution deposit of Rs.125/- and Hostel Service Charge of Rs.50/-.

This may be revised from time to time according to Orders from Government, of India, DGET Headquarters at New Delhi.

Stipend & Scholarship:

1. A Stipend of Rs.100/- per month is given to 25% of the sanctioned strength on Poverty-cum-merit basis, and
2. A Merit Scholarship of Rs.125/- per month per trainee is given to 4% of the total number of the trainees as per Government, of India rules.

Reservation: Seats are reserved for Women Candidate, SC, ST, OBC, Physically handicapped and Ex-Servicemen as per Government, of India Rules.
