1. B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic)/B.Sc. Nursing degree of the Panjab University or any other equivalent degree recognized by Panjab University with 55% marks in aggregate
2. One year experience by 15th July of the year in bedside nursing or Public Health Nursing or Teaching in Nursing from Institutions recognized by State Govt/Govt, of India
3. R.N. and R.M. as approved by INC or substitute registration in case of male candidates. (The details of seats reserved for SC/ST/ Sponsored candidates are given in the prospectus)

Application forms alongwith prospectus are available from the office of the undersigned either personally on payment of Rs.500/- for General Category and Rs.400/- for SC/ST (Prospectus/form purchased for SC/ST category shall not be entertained in General Category) from 10.00 A.M. to 11.30 A.M. and from 2.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M. on all working days except Saturday (on Saturday form will be available from 10.00 A.M. to 11.30 A.M.) or by post for which the request must be accompanied with a self addressed thick envelope (24cms x 15cms) bearing postage stamps of Rs.45/- and Bank Draft for Rs.500/- and Rs.400/- for General and SC/ST (indicating category i.e General or SC/ST) respectively drawn in favour of 'The Director, P.G.I Chandigarh', payable at S.B.L, M.I. Branch code 1524.
