At present, the School offers a Ph.D. Program in Management, Master of Management Program and Short Term Management Development Programs. Students have access to state - of - the - art academic and residential infrastructure, computing facility and information resources.
Master of Management Program
SJMSOM School offers a full - time, residential, two - year program leading to the Master of Management Studies (M Mgt.) degree. Unique features of the program include significant emphasis on teamwork and interactive classroom participation, and interested students can go for a final project.
The School provides campus placement service. Placement Endowment Scholarships are awarded on merit basis.
SJMSOM Eligibility:
Students with a first class Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent) or first class Master's degree in Science are eligible for SJMSOM admission to the M.Mgt. Program.
Students should have secured min. 60% aggregate marks / min. CGPI of 6.5 out of 10 at the qualifying examination. There is a relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent in CGPI for SC / ST candidates.
Work experience is desirable but not mandatory. Candidates appearing for the final degree examination can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, provided they complete all requirements for the qualifying degree at the time of joining the course.
SJMSOM Admission Procedure:
Candidates applying for the Master of Management Program are required to appear for the Joint Management Entrance Test 2010 (JMET 2010) to be conducted on Sunday, December 13, 2009.
For information about JMET 2010, refer to the advertisement that appeared in all leading newspapers. International candidates may submit their GMAT score in lieu of the JMET (use the URL http://www.gate.iitb.ac.in/jmet_web_2010/ for more details of JMET).
Short - listed applicants will be invited for a group discussion and personal interview to be held at SJMSOM in the first week of March 2010. Indian candidates have to apply online to SJMSOM latest by January 29, 2010.
The online application will be available from January 10, 2010 on IIT Bombay website www.iitb.ac.in. International candidates need to download application from IIT Bombay website www.iitb.ac.in and submit hard copy latest by January 29, 2010.

Ph.D. Program
SJMSOM offers a Ph.D. Program in Management, (in areas of Operations, Technology management, Finance, Organisation Behavior, Human resource Management, Marketing, Strategy, Economics etc).
The details of the program can be downloaded from SJMSOM website. The institute admits PhD students twice a year (December and June).
Short Term Management Development Programs
The SJM School of Management IIT Bombay offers various short term management development courses for fresh as well as working professionals.
