• Fresh and in – service candidates with II class in graduation ( 45% in case of SC / ST / BC candidates ).
• Candidates who qualified in ICET 2012 are eligible to apply.

• MA Hindi : BA / B.Com. / B.Sc. with Hindi as one of the subjects of study.
• MA Telugu: BA / B.Com. / B.Sc. / BA ( Special ) or B.Sc. (Home Science) with Telugu as one of the subjects of the study.
• MA Economics: BA with Economics as one of the subjects.
• MA History : BA / BA ( O.L ) with History / BAL as one of the subjects.
• MA Political Science : Any Bachelor’s Degree
• MA Public Administration : Any Bachelor’s Degree
• MA Sociology : Any Bachelor’s Degree

Diploma :

• Diploma in Music : ( Two Years ) : Must have completed 15 years of age by 01-07-2012
• Diploma in Consumer Education : ( Six Months ) : Intermediate + 2 passed.
• PG Diploma : 1 Year ( English Medium only )
• PG Diploma in Co-operation and Rural Studies, Computer Programming and Applications, Environmental Studies, Functional English, Management of Voluntary Organizations, Travel and Tourism Management, Consumer Education, Public Interest, Digital Governance: Any Bachelor’s degree other than BFA and BA ( O.L )

Translation : Any degree with Telugu as mother tongue or any degree with Telugu as a subject of study.

Additional Methodology Subjects in B.Ed. / MA Education :

• The candidates of B.Ed. / MA Education intending to do additional method subjects in English, Telugu, Physical Science, Mathematics, Biological Science and Social studies are advised to be present at the SDE, AU, Visakhapatnam at 10:00 am on 21st and 22nd September, 2012 along with DD for 5,000/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, “Andhra University” payable at Visakhapatnam, one set of Xerox copies of all certificates together with originals.
• Note: Separate notification will be issued for MBA and MCA Courses
• Spot Admissions: Applicants for admission will also be accepted at various Spot Receipt centers on the given dates noted against each mentioned in the university website.
