Anna University of Technology Coimbatore  invites applications for Admission to Ph.D. / M.Tech. ( By Research ) Full time / Part time Programs ( 2012 ).

AUT University Coimbatore Admission Eligibility 2012 :

For PhD Program :

1. Master’s Degree of t h i s University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study notified from time to time by the University.
2. A minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination ( 50% marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale for SC / ST candidates ). For M.A. ( English ) Degree holders including SC / ST candidates, a minimum of 50% marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale.
3. If the qualifying degree is M.Tech. ( By Research ) of the University or recognized as equivalent.
4. As per the AICTE Norms, the Engineering Degree Acquired through distance Education Mode is Not Eligible.
5. Do not apply for Second Ph.D.

For M Tech Program :

1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering and Technology.
2. A minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination ( 50% marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale for SC / ST candidates ).
