BVDU Admission Eligibility 2019

BA

  • Candidate should have passed the HSC/Equivalent Examination from a recognised Board.

Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]

  • Candidate should have passed the HSC/Equivalent Examination with at least 45% marks from a recognised Board.

Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com]

  • Candidate should have passed her Higher Secondary Certificate Exam (10+2) from any recognized School / College / Board.

Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws [B.A.L.L.B.] & Bachelor of Business Administration + Bachelor of Laws [BBALLB]

  • Candidate should have passed her Higher Secondary Certificate Exam (10+2) from any recognized School / College / Board.

Bachelor of Laws [L.L.B.]

  • Candidate should have any graduate degree from any recognised University.

Bsc

Computer Science

  • Candidate should have passed the H. S. C. (Science) or equivalent examination of any statutory Board with Physics, & Mathematics

Agriculture

  • Candidate should have passed the H. S. C. or equivalent examination with Biology as one of the subjects of any statutory Board in the science stream.

Biotechnology

  • Candidate should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or mathematics & English individually and must have obtained 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for SC/ST category from Maharashtra state only, in Physics, Chemistry & Biology or mathematics taken together at the qualifying examination i.e. H.S.C./10+2 or equivalent.

Nursing

  • Candidate should have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together at the qualifying examination i.e. H.S.C./10+2 or ICSE or PUC.

Age Limit

  • Candidate should be a minimum of 17 years of age.

For others:

  • Candidate  should have passed the H. S. C. or equivalent examination of any statutory Board in the science stream.

B.Pharm

  • Candidate should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or mathematics & English individually and must have obtained 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ST category of Maharashtra state only, in Physics, Chemistry & Biology or mathematics taken together at the qualifying examination i.e. H.S.C./10+2 or equivalent.

For Direct Admission

  • Candidate should have passed Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 50% marks.

Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology [BHMCT]

  • Candidate should have passed HSC or equivalent with compulsory English and scored a minimum of 45 % marks in aggregate at HSC (standard XII) examination.

Bachelor of Optometry [B.Optom]

  • Candidate should have successfully completed H.S.C./10+2 or equivalent with min 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics & Pass in English.

Nationality: Candidate should be an Indian national.

Age: Candidate should be a minimum of 17 years of age.

BASLP (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology) Programme

  • Candidate should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or mathematics & English individually and must have obtained 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology or mathematics taken together at the qualifying examination i.e. H.S.C./10+2 or equivalent.

BVDU Admission Exam Pattern 2019

Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]

  • Candidate will be selected on the basis of an examination that consists of a single question paper comprising 200 objective type questions for the duration of three hours. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking. The paper carries a maximum of 200 marks.

The break-up of questions will be as follows:

  • Test of Numerical Aptitude (60)
  • Test of Reasoning / Logical Aptitude (60)
  • Test of Verbal Ability (60)
  • Test of Reading Comprehension (60)

Bachelor of Laws [L.L.B.] & Bachelor of Business Administration + Bachelor of Laws [BBALLB]

  • The question paper will consist of 100 objective type questions. There shall be no negative marking.

There will be 25 questions on each of the following sections in the paper:

  • English Grammar, Usage and Comprehension;
  • Legal Aptitude, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning;
  • Current Legal News and General Knowledge;
  • Social Sciences with an emphasis on Indian Constitution and Political System in India.

BSC

  • The examination consists of one question paper. It will be set in English medium and will contain 100 multiple-choice objective type questions with four options A, B, C, & D with only one correct choice. It will consists of 25 questions each on Physics and Chemistry and the remaining 25 each on Botany and Zoology (for B.Sc. Nursing) or 25 on Biology(optional) and Mathematics (optional) for the rest of the courses where the question on Physics and Chemistry will be compulsory . There shall be no negative marking for an incorrect answer. The question will be on HSC or 10+2 examination standard.

B.Pharm

  • The examination consists of one question paper. It will be set in English medium and will contain 200 multiple-choice objective type questions with four options A, B, C, & D with only one correct choice. It will consists 100 questions on Chemistry and 100 questions onPhysics. There shall be no negative marking for an incorrect answer.

BHMCT

  • The test will consist of one paper having 100 multiple choice questions. The duration of the test will be two hours. Each correct answer shall carry one mark. There shall be no negative marking for an incorrect answer. It will consist of the following 5 sections with 20 questions each:
    • Reasoning and Logical Deduction
    • Numerical Ability and Scientific Aptitude
    • Service and Hospitality Aptitude
    • General Knowledge
    • English Language

B. Optometry and BASLP

  • The test will consist of one paper, set in English. It will contain 100 multiple choice questions with 25 each on Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The 50 questions from Physics and Chemistry will be compulsory and you can attempt either Biology or Mathematics as those will be optional. Each correct answer will fetch one mark with no negative marking for an incorrect answer.

BVDU Admission Selection Procedure 2019

BA

  • Candidate will be selected on the basis of fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]

  • Candidate will be selected on the basis of an examination.

B.Arch

  • Candidate should hold a minimum of 40% in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) Examination.

B.Com

  • Candidate will be selected on the basis of an Entrance Exam conducted by the University.

Bachelor of Laws [L.L.B.] & Bachelor of Business Administration + Bachelor of Laws [BBALLB]

  • Candidate will be selected on the basis of LLB Entrance Test.

B.Sc, B.Pharm

  • Candidate will be selected on merit on the basis of the marks obtained by you in the Entrance Test conducted by the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.

Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology [BHMCT]

  • Candidate will be selected on the basis of an Entrance Test HM.

For both B. Optometry and BASLP Programme

  • Candidate will be selected on the basis of a Common Entrance Test conducted by the University.
