How to apply

  • Central University of South Bihar Entrance Test admission application form will be available at website www.cusb.ac.in.
  • The following documents required at the time of admission
    • Eligibility letter for Admission, issued by Central University of South Bihar.
    • Proof of Age / Passport with copies / Passport size photographs
    • Marksheets / Certificates / Transcripts of Academic records; Migration / Transfer Certificate, as issued by the institution last attended.
    • Valid Appropriate Student Visa or Research Visa stamped into Passport, or Letter of Permission for OCIs. Please note that the visa endorsement should be specifically for Study and acceptable to Banaras Hindu University.
    • For Nepal & Bhutan nationals only: Citizenship Certificate ( in absence of Visa ), duly countersigned by the Consular Wing of the Mission of India in the respective country ( and in case of PhD Admission, a no objection letter from the Mission.
    • For Iran nationals: NOC from the Islamic Republic of Iran in India ( in addition to the Visa issued by the Indian Embassy abroad ).

CUBSET Admission Selection Process 2019

  • Students shall be admitted to programmes as per the Admission Policy of the University. Regular updates are available on the University website. All eligible candidates must report themselves for the admission test to the respective test centre ( s ) on their own and according to the schedule.
  • Admission to the programmes in this University shall be subject to applicant fulfilling the eligibility conditions. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that she / he fulfils the eligibility criteria for a particular programme as mentioned in CUSB Prospectus.
  • The applicant must have appeared in the final examination. Applicants awaiting result in the qualifying examination may also apply. However, their admission shall be subject to minimum eligibility marks in the qualifying examination and they may be allowed to seek admission only on production of their final year mark sheet on or before the last date of admission.
  • High School level knowledge of Mathematics, Computer literacy and good communication skills in English language are desirable for all the programmes.
  • Short-listed candidates based on Entrance Test scores, will be called for counselling and admission.
  • Details of online / offline counselling will be uploaded on the University website after declaration of CUCET-2019 results.
  • Candidates expelled from any other Board / Institute / University or dismissed from Government service on disciplinary grounds and those who are known to have been involved in acts of crime and gross indiscipline or misconduct shall not be eligible for admission. The University may approach the police for verification in this regard. After the admission, if anybody is found guilty in this regard, s/he shall have to quit the university.
  • Central University of South Bihar reserves the right to launch or drop any academic programme at any appropriate stage.
  • Medium of the Entrance Test is English, except for M.A / Ph.D in Hindi.
  • If a student is not in a position to provide any of the requisite documents / certificates at the time of admission, he shall be considered as provisionally admitted. Last date of submission of any of the pending documents / certificates is 30th September, 2019 failing which the admission of the student shall be liable to be cancelled.
