Course in Physics
Minimum 50% aggregate marks or its equivalent on Grading Scale of respective Boards / Universities (45% for SC / ST / PwD candidates) at 10+2 level with Physics & Mathematics as subjects.
5.UGB.Voc ( Retail Management )
  • To be eligible for admission to a bachelor’s vocational degree programme of study, a candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% of the aggregate marks in class +2 level of a recognized Board of School Education or an
    equivalent grade / NSQF certification level, admission to first semester or level 4 of bachelor’s vocational degree programme under NSQF can be made as per following categorization unless otherwise prescribed by Advisory Committee of Bachelor’s of Vocational Degree Programmes and approved by Academic Council:
  • Category-1: Candidates who have already acquire prescribed NSQF certification level in a particular industry sector and opted for admission in the bachelor’s of
    vocational degree programme under same sector for which he / she was previously certified at school level
  • Category-2: students who have acquired requisite NSQF certification Level but may like to change their sector and may enter in B.Voc
    course in a different sector.
  • Category-3: Students who have passed 10+2 examination with conventional schooling without any background of
    vocational training.
  • Category-4: Students who have qualifiedequivalent examination from polytechnic in the same field may also be considered eligible.
  • Equal weight age, at par with other subjects, would be given to vocational subjects at +2 level while considering candidates for admission
  • 6.UGB.Voc ( Tourism Management )
  • To be eligible for admission to a bachelor’s vocational degree programme of study, a candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% of the aggregate marks in class +2 level of a recognized Board of School Education or an equivalent grade / NSQF certification level, admission to first semester or level 4of bachelor’s vocational degree programme under NSQF can be made as per following categorization unless otherwise prescribed by advisory Committee of Bachelor’s of Vocational Degree Programmes and approved by Academic Council:
  • Category-1:

    9.PGM.Tech  ( Computer Science & Technology )B.Tech. / B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering / Information technology or M.C.A or M.Sc ( Computer Science / IT ). In addition, candidates of General &OBC category must have secured at least 60% marks at the qualifying degree level; but for SC / ST / PwD category candidates, this percentage is 55%. GATE qualified candidates may be preferred.
    10.PGM.Sc. Environmental SciencesBachelor’s Degree of at least three years duration in Science stream from a recognized University with not less than 50% of total marks ( 45% in case of SC / ST and person with disabilities ).
    11.PGM.A. / M.Sc. MathematicsBachelor’s  Degree  ( 10+2+3 )   from  a recognized University with not less than 50% of  total marks (45% in case of SC / ST and persons with disabilities) with Mathematics / Applied Mathematics as one of the subjects.

    Central University of Jammu Application form 2019

    • CUJ Application form details will be available at the official website : www.cujammu.ac.in.
    • Applicants are required to fill-in all the details in the application form carefully. On submission of online application successfully the students will get successful completion message in the online case, in the offline payment case the candidate will get a message after reconciliation from the bank within 3-4 days.
    • A candidate may fill the form partially and login again to complete it later. Candidates will receive SMSs and Email alerts at the time of registration and after completing payment through online, in the offline payment case the student will get a message after reconciliation from SBI.
    • The entire application is in 8 ( Eight ) stage process.

    Central University of Jammu Selection process 2019

    • Admission to all Programmes shall be based on the merit of the students in Entrance Test of CUCET – 2019
    • No candidate shall be considered for admission unless he / she has appeared in the CUCET-2019.
    • No candidate securing less than 40% marks ( 35% in case of SC, ST and Persons with disabilities) in CUCET-2019 shall be eligible for admission to Undergraduate & Postgraduate Programmes.The candidates are advised to remain in touch with the website for updated information.

    Ph.D. Programmes

    • Admission to the Ph.D. Programmes offered by the University shall be made on the basis of the score of CUCET -2019
    • No candidate securing less than 50% marks ( 45% in case of SC,ST and Persons with disabilities) in CUCET-2019 shall be eligible for admission to fulltime & part-time Ph.D Programme.
    • Subject to the minimum cut-off marks, candidates equivalent to five times the number of seats shall be called for Interview strictly on the basis of merit of entrance test score of CUCET-2019.
    • The JRF / NET/ SLET / SET qualified candidates shall be exempted from CUCET-2019 for admission to Ph.D. Programmes. For the purpose of calculating merit, JRF qualified candidates shall be deemed to have scored 100% marks in the CUCET-2019 whereas, the NET / SLET / SET qualified candidates shall be deemed to have scored marks equivalent to
      the marks scored by the topper of CUCET-2019.
    • Provided that if a JRF / NET / SLET / SET qualified candidate appears in the CUCET-2017, at his / her own discretion, he/she shall be awarded the actual marks scored in the CUCET-2019 by him / her and he / she shall notbe deemed to have scored 100% marks or the marks scored by the topper of theCUCET-2019 respectively as the case may be. Provided further that a candidate, who has passed Master’s Degree Examination in an allied subject, should have either qualified JRF/ NET/ SLET / SET or the CUCET-2019 in the subject in which admission is sought.
