DCE Chennai Admission Eligibility 2019

B.E / B.Tech ( All disciplines )

Duration : 4 years

Eligibility : HSC / Any other equivalent

Subjects : Mathematics (M) , Physics (P), Chemistry (C)

Percentage of Marks :

• OC – 50% aggregate in ( M ) ( P ) ( C )
• BC – 45% aggregate in ( M ) ( P ) ( C )
• MBC – 40% aggregate in ( M ) ( P ) ( C )
• SC / ST – 40% aggregate in ( M ) ( P ) ( C )
• Other state students are considered in OC category

Lateral entry – B.E / B.Tech :

Students of diploma stream are admitted at second year level of the four year bachelor degree programme.

How to apply

• Candidate need to register for TNEA through online mode to apply for B.E / B.Tech program.
• Candidate are required to appear for TANCET exam conducted by Anna University every year. Admissions to PG programs offered by DCE is done on the basis of TANCA counselling.
• Students should log on to the website of the college for registration in a particular program.
• Candidate can register themselves by filling the prescribed form available online or offline.
• At the time of physical counselling at allotted organizations, candidate must bring the relevant documents for verification.
