DTE Goa Admission Courses Eligibility 2019

  • MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS & AHS : Applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate ( Std. XII th ) examination of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English and secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only and 45% for applicants belonging to PH category for MBBS and BDS Course )
  • B.Sc in Nursing : Applicants should have passed HSSC ( qualifying exam ) in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, and obtained minimum 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, ( 40% aggregate marks in subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology for candidates belonging to SC,ST and OBC category ).
  • B.E ( Bachelor of Engineering ) : The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate ( Std.XII th )  examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology, and secured not less than 45% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology. ( 40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only )
  • B.Pharm : The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate ( Std.XII th ) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/ Computer Science / Biology, and secured not less than 45% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Chemistry with one of the following subjects  Mathematics / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology. ( 40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only )
  • B.Arch : The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate ( Std.XII th )examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate ( 45% aggregate marks for applicants belonging to SC / ST/ OBC ). ( OR ) 10+3 Diploma ( any stream ) passed/ appearing recognized by Central / State Govts with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics. ( OR ) International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination. No direct lateral admission is allowed at any other year / stage of B.Arch. course based on any qualification.

  • This prospectus is uploaded on website: www.dte.goa.gov.in of the Directorate of Technical Education.
  • Applicants shall download, print and submit application form for GCET-2019, at notified locations as per Centre opted, on specified dates, along with application fee of [rupee] 1800 /- payable vide demand draft drawn in favour of Director of Technical Education at Panaji – Goa, on any Scheduled Bank ( or any other approved mode of remittance, as notified ), and three identical photographs as indicated, and other specified certificates ( self attested photo copies ), to obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee. Admit cards will be issued only to candidates in person.

B.E 

  • The merit list shall be based on aggregate marks of GCET–2019 in the subjects of Physics and Mathematics.
  • In case the above marks of two or more applicants are equal, applicant with more marks in GCET-2019 Mathematics shall be placed higher in the merit list.
  • In case the marks in Mathematics are also equal, applicant with more marks in GCET-2019 Chemistry will be placed higher in the merit list.
  • In case the marks in GCET-2019 in Chemistry are also equal, applicant with more aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics at the qualifying examination ( Std.XII th ) will be placed higher in the merit list. In case of tie at this stage, applicant scoring more marks in Mathematics at the qualifying examination ( Std.XII th ) will be placed higher in the merit list
  • If all the above are also equal, then the applicant with earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the order of merit.

B.Pharm

  • The merit list shall be based on aggregate marks scored at GCET-2019 in the subjects of Physics and Chemistry.
  • In case the above marks of two or more applicants are equal, applicant with more marks in GCET-2019 Chemistry shall be placed higher in the merit list
  • In case the marks in GCET-2019 in Chemistry are also equal, applicant with more aggregate marks in Physics and Chemistry at the qualifying examination ( Std.XII th ) will be placed higher in the merit list. In case of tie at this stage, applicant scoring more marks in Chemistry at the qualifying examination ( Std.XII th ) will be placed higher in the merit list.
  • If all the above are also equal, then the applicant with earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the order of merit.

B.Arch

  • The merit list shall be based on aggregate of marks obtained in NATA and the aggregate marks obtained at the qualifying examination ( HSSC / Diploma ) added in the ratio of 1:1 i.e with 50% weight age each for NATA score and aggregate marks in the subjects of qualifying examination.
  • In case the above combined marks are equal, applicant with higher NATA marks will be placed higher in order of merit.
  • If the NATA marks are also equal, then applicant with higher marks in Mathematics will be placed higher in the merit list.
  • If the above marks are also equal, then the applicant with earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the merit list.
