• MA ( Master of Arts )
• MSc ( Master of Science ) and
• MCom ( Master of Commerce )

Gauhati University Admission Eligibility 2019

B.Ed Course

• Candidate should passed BA / B.Sc / B.Com. or MA / M.Sc / M.Com or equivalent degree form a recognized university with at least 50% marks ( or 45% for SC / ST / OBC )

MA and MSc Courses

Any of the following ( if otherwise not specified )

• Candidate should passed BA / BSc in the 10 + 2 + 3 – pattern with Major / Honours in the concerned subject.
• Candidate should passed BCom in the 10 + 2 + 3 – pattern with at least 40% marks ( or equivalent CGPA ) in aggregate in the General Course

MCom Course

Any of the following ( if otherwise not specified )

• Candidate should passed BCom in the 10 + 2 + 3 – pattern with Major course.
• Candidate should passed BA / BSc in the 10 + 2 + 3 – pattern with General / Pass Course subjects with at least 45% marks ( or equivalent CGPA ) in the concerned subject.

Gauhati University Selection Procedure 2019

• Admission to all Courses will be through an Entrance Test. Candidate must get valid score in entrance examination. Selection from shortlisted candidates will be on the basis of group discussion and interview.
