Admission To Paramedical Certificate Courses / D.M.L.T Course

For 2008-2009 Session

Applications are invited from the candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Course with Science Subjects in the State of Tamil Nadu for admission to the following Para Medical Certificate Courses(1 Year)/ Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology Course (2 Years) for 2008-2009 session in Government Medical Colleges / King Institute of Preventive Medicine, Guindy, Chennai - 32.

2. The candidate should be a citizen of India and his / her age should be between 17 and 30 years and for SC/ST candidates 35 years as on 31.12.2008.

3. Issue Of Application Form With Prospectus

a) The application form with prospectus for the following courses will be issued from the 14 Government Medical Colleges / King Institute of Preventive Medicine, Guindy. Chennai-32 on all working days from 25.07.2008 to 08.08.2008 (upto 3.00 P.M.)

The candidates are requested to verify the above details before applying for the course in a particular college.

4. Cost of Application Form/ Prospectus (Rs.200/-)

1. The candidates/ authorized persons can obtain the application form and prospectus with a written requisition enclosing a crossed Demand Draft drawn for Rs.200/- in favour of the Dean of the concerned Government Medical College and Payable at the concerned station.
   The Demand Draft should have been issued by anyone of the Nationalised Banks only and dated not earlier than the date of this advertisement
2. Postal Orders Or Money Orders Will Not Be Accepted
3. SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of cost of application form of Rs.200/-. They can obtain the application/prospectus with a written requisition duly enclosing an attested Xerox copy of the Community certificate issued by the appropriate Revenue authorities.
   The candidate should also give a declaration that he/she has not obtained the application form for the above course from any other Medical College at free of cost

1. Only one prospectus should be obtained which contains 2 separate application forms; one combined form for all Para Medical Certificate courses and the other for DMLT course.
2. Hence separate application form intended for Para Medical Certificate Courses and DMLT Course should be sent.
3. The King Institute of Preventive Medicine, Guindy, and Chennai-32 conducts only DMLT course with 50 seats.
