Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore invites admission application for Post Graduate Program in Public Policy and Management ( PGPPM ) 2013 – 2015.

IIM Bangalore Admission Eligibility Criteria :

• Open Candidates : Graduate with ideally minimum 5 years work experience. Selection on basis of CAT / GRE / GMAT for open candidates.
  
• Government Candidates : Should be from All India Services or Civil Services and Engineering Services with minimum 7 years of experience.

IIM Bangalore Admission Selection Procedure :

• Selection of open and overseas candidates is based on a two stage process. Candidates will be first selected to be called for interview based on the following criteria :
  • Academic Background
  • CAT 2012 / GMAT or GRE scores obtained between 01st December, 2010 to 31st December, 2012
  • Work Experience
  • Demonstratable Interest in public system or NGO activities
• At the second stage, selected candidates will be interviewed in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore. They will be required to do a case analysis on the day of the interview.
• For open Candidates : Residing abroad and overseas candidates, the interviews can be arranged through video conference / Skype mode at a mutually convenient date and time.
• The Government sponsored candidates : Have to apply through the Department of Personnel and Training ( DoPT ), Government of India ( GoI ), as per normal procedure. They will be called for interviews in Delhi or Bangalore and will be required to do a case analysis at the time of interview.

Open and Overseas Candidates :

• Open and overseas candidates should fill in the online application form available at www.iimb.ernet.in and submit online along with the application fee.

Government Sponsored Candidates :

• Officers from All India and Central Services are required to forward the duly filled-in application available at the IIMB website : www.iimb.ernet.in, through the concerned departments to the

  Department of Personnel & Training ( DoPT ),
  Government of India.

IIM Bangalore Admission Application Fee :

• For open and overseas candidates applying with GMAT / GRE scores, the application fee is 1500/- and for those open candidates who take the CAT 2012, the application fee is 500/-.
• For the Government sponsored participants, there is no application fee.
• The IIM Bangalore admission application fee should be paid online through the payment gateway while submitting the application form.

IIM Bangalore Admission Eligibility Criteria :

• A Master’s Degree in any discipline, ( 10 + 2 + 3 + 1 or 2 pattern ) with at least 55% marks. ( OR )

• Based on the information provided by the applicants, shortlisted candidates will be called to Bangalore for a Research Aptitude Test ( RAT ) and or interview for final selection.
• Selection will be based on the applicant’s performance in CAT / GRE / GMAT / GATE / JRF / NET as applicable, past academic performance, work experience, and RAT and or interview.

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore invites admission application for Two and Half Year Post Graduate Program in Software Enterprise Management ( PGSEM ) program 2013.

IIM Bangalore Admission Eligibility Criteria :

• Participants are admitted to the program based on a combination of requirements. First, the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
• The Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling ( 10 + 2 ) or equivalent.
• Diploma holders cannot apply to this program unless they also possess a Bachelors degree.
• Second, applicants need to have a minimum of two years experience in the IT industry as on 1st June, 2013.
• The average experience for the batch of 2012 is about 8 years.

IIM Bangalore Admission Selection Procedure :

For the PGSEM batch starting 2013, applicants must mandatorily choose any one of these two options for selection :

• Applicants may take the Common Admission Test ( CAT 2012 ) conducted jointly by the IIMs and indicate that they want to apply for the PGSEM in the CAT 2012 Application Form.
• The CAT 2012 scores will be used in their application process. Please see the CAT IIM website : www.catiim.in/ for more details on CAT.
• Applicants may take the GMAT. Applicants who have already taken the test may attach a copy of their GMAT scores along with the application.
• Scores of GMAT taken after 1st January, 2010 only are valid.
• The GMAT Code for IIMB PGSEM is Q9H – KK – 32.
• No other test ( GATE / GRE / etc.) will be considered in lieu of the above options.
• Interviews will be conducted for short-listed candidates in Bangalore only.
• At the time of interview, candidates are required to produce letters of approval from their employers indicating that they are permitted to pursue the program.
• Final selection will be made based on the prior academic performance, duration and nature of work experience, CAT / GMAT test scores, and performance in the interview.

• The following documents are to be enclosed along with the application :
  • Valid GMAT Score should have taken on or after 1st January, 2010 ( OR )
  • CAT Score ( 2012 )
  • A statement of purpose (SoP) for joining the program
  • Company approval form ( To be Submitted at the Time of Interview )
  • IIM Bangalore admission application fee of 500/- for candidates applying through CAT / GMAT.
