RSV Tirupati Regular Programmes Admission Eligibility 2019

Under Graduate

Prak-Sastri:

  • Candidate must have passed in one of the following examinations with minimum five or six papers and marks obtained should be 500 and above with English as one paper:
  • Candidate must have cleared S.S.C. / CBSE / NOS course with or without Sanskrit and pass in ABHIJNA of Samskrita Bhasha Pracharini Sabha, Chittoor is also required.
  • Candidates must have cleared Purva Madhyama course of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi or Sampoornananda Sanskrit University, Varanasi
  • Candidates must have cleared Sanskrit Entrance Examination conducted by the Govt. of A.P with English
  • Candidates must have cleared any examination recognized as equivalent to X class with Sanskrit
  • Candidates must have obtained Veda Bhushan Certificate of Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda Vidya Pratishtan, Ujjain
  • Candidates who possess S.S.C without Sanskrit are also eligible to join the programme

Age limit eligibility

  • Candidates’ age should be 15 to 18 years as on 01st June, 2018.
  • There is no upper age limit for female candidates.

Sastri Sammanita:

  • Candidate must have passed in any one of the following examinations in 10, +2 pattern which are as below:
    • Candidate must have cleared Prak-Sastri course of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha , Tirupati or Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi
    • Candidate must have cleared Uttara Madhyama course of Sampoornananda Sanskrit University, Varanasi or Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi.
    • Candidate must have cleared Madhyama course of Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.
    • Candidate must have cleared Varishtopadhyaya course of Rajasthan Board of Intermediate Education, Ajmer
    • Candidate must have cleared Upasastri coure of Sree Jagannatha Sanskrit University, Puri or Kameshwar Singh Sanskrit University, Darbhanga
    • Candidate must have cleared Sahitya course of Karnataka State.
    • Candidate must have cleared Veda Vibhushan course of Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Sanskrit Vedavidya Pratishtan, Ujjain
    • Candidates must have cleared intermediate or equivalent examination with Sanskrit or Vichakshana of Samskrita Bhasha Pracharini Sabha, Chittoor, of + 2 stage in 10, +2, +3 Pattern conducted by a State Board / University / Institute recognized by Vidyapeetha.

Age limit eligibility

  • Candidates’ age must be minimum of 17 years as on 01st June, 2018.

Sastri Vedabhashyam and Vedic Studies

  • Candidates must have passed Samhita ( Rigveda / KrishnaYajurveda / Shukla Yajueveda / Samaveda & Atharvaveda ) course and should have some knowledge of Sanskrit.
  • Candidate must have passed 12th and knowledge of English is not compulsory.

Age limit eligibility

  • Candidates’ age must be minimum of 17 years as on 01st June, 2018.

B.A. Honours

  • Candidate must have passed in any one of the following examinations in 10, +2 pattern which are as below:
    • Candidate must have cleared Prak-Sastri course of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha , Tirupati or Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi

Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.)

  • Candidates must have passed Sastri / BA ( Sanskrit ) or equivalent in 10, +2, +3 pattern with minimum 50% marks or pass 2 years Sastri / BA ( Sanskrit ) or equivalent with 50% marks or pass one year bridge course/ setu or one year aharaya/ MA ( Sanskrit ) with 50% marks.
  • Candidates who are appearing for qualifying examination can also apply.
  • 5% relaxation will be given to SC / ST candidates.

Age limit eligibility

  • Candidate age should be minimum 20 years on October, 2018.

Post Graduate 

MA ( Acharya )

  • Candidate must have passed 3 years degree course in Sastri or respective subjects
  • Candidates having Sanskrit as Second language or one of the subjects in group at Graduate Level are also eligible for admission into Acharya in Sahitya, Puranetihasa and Dharmasastra.
  • Candidate must have completed 2 years degree course with Bridge course of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati or Sri Lal Bahadur Sastri Rashtirya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, New Delhi or Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi
  • Candidate must have given Siromani Final examination of Madras University, Chennai or Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar.
  • Candidate must have passed Siromani Final examination of Madras University, Chennai S.V. University, Tirupati or Sastra Bhushana Final examination of Kerala Government.
  • Candidate must have appeared in Vidyapraveena final examination of Andhra University, Waltair.
  • Candidate must have given Vidyalankara and Vedalankara examinations of Gurukula Kangeri Viswavidyalaya, Haridwar
  • Candidate must have given Vidwat Madyama examination of Karnataka Government
  • Candidate must have completed B.A.(O.L)/B.A.(L),B.A./B.A(Hons.)/B.O.L equivalent examinations with Sanskrit of all recognized universities.
  • Candidate must have given any other examination recognized by the Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha as equivalent to Sastri.

Age limit eligibility

  • Candidate age must be minimum of 20 years as on 01st June, 2018.

Masters in Ancient Indian Management Techniques:

  • Candidate must be graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% of marks.

Age limit eligibility

  • Candidates’ age should be minimum 20 years.

MA ( Sanskrit )

  • Candidate must possess Sastri/ B.A. / or any other equivalent degree with Computer Science/Computer Applications or sufficient Computer background.
  • Candidate must possess B.A./B.Sc./BCA/ or any other equivalent degree with Sanskrit and Computer Science or Mathematics background.

M.A Hindi

  • Candidate must be Any Graduate / equivalent to Graduate with second language Hindi / optional Hindi.
  • Candidate must be any Graduate without Hindi at graduate level or as subject at graduate level.

Age limit 

  • Candidate age must be minimum of 20 years as on 01st June, 2018.

Research Programmes

Visishtacharya (M.Phil.)

  • Candidate must possess Acharya or equivalent degree in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks ( for open category candidates ) and 50% marks ( for SC / ST category candidates ).

Visishtacharya (M.Phil.) in Education – (5 seats):

  • Candidate must possess Siksha Acharya ( M.Ed. ) degree with minimum of 55% of marks and Acharya / M.A. ( Skanskrit ) or any equivalent PG Degree with a minimum of 55% marks ( in both the degrees )
  • Candidates belong to SC / ST category must possess above mentioned degree with minimum of 50% of marks and must have expertise in Sanskrit.

RSV Tirupati Admission Seats 2019

  • Reseravtion of seats in the university is as per the exsisting norms of UGC or by government of India. Seats reservation in various categories are as follows:-
    • 15% seats are reserved for the SC candidates and 7½% seats are reserved for the ST category candidates.
    • 27% sets are reserved for the OBC category candidates.
    • 3% seats are reserved for the person with disability and few seats are also reserved for the children of the employees of the Vidyapeetha

  • RSV Tirupati application form is  available in the official website www.rsvidyapeetha.ac.in.
  • Candidates can also obtain the application form by post after submitting amount of ₹ 250/- by DD in favour of The Registrar, R.S.Vidyapeetha, Tirupati payable at Tirupati
  • Candidates have to submit their filled in application form along with prospectus in person by DD of amount ₹ 200 from any Nationalised bank drawn in favour of The Registrar, R.S.Vidyapeetha, Tirupati payable at Tirupati or challan in the Andhra Bank, R.S.Vidyapeetha branch, Tirupati
  • Incomplete applications received after the due date will be rejected
  • Candidate must attend the interview with original documents and 3 sets of photocopies of documents on specified date and time.
  • If the candidate is not present physically, the candidate will lose their seat.
  • Candidate admission will be confirmed after interview and written test conducted by the university.

  • Provisional/pass certificate of the last qualifying examination for admission.
  • Marks obtained in each examination right from Matriculation/SSC/OSLC to the last qualifying examination.
