TISS Admission Eligibility Criteria 2013 :

• First Year : HSC Science ( English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics ) 45% for general category and 40% for reserved category candidates and CET.

• Second Year : AICTE approved Diploma in Printing Technology.

• Age Limit : Candidate applying in the general category he / she should be less than 25 years of age as of 31st August, 2013

• Candidate applying in reserved category he / she should be less than 28 years of age as of 31st August, 2013.

TISS Admission Application Form 2013 :

• All candidates are required to apply online on website : www.beprinting.tiss.edu.

• TISS Admission Application fees 1000/- application fee plus 50/- as bank processing charges to be deposited in Power Jyoti account in any branch of SBI.

• SBI Power Jyoti application form fees Bank Account No – 31134946535.

• In case of payment by cash deposit in SBI branch, please note that the SBI will charge processing fee for each deposit, which cannot be adjusted against the application fee.

• Payment made through demand draft, pay order or any other than the mode specified above will not be accepted, and the application will be rejected and no communication to this effect will be sent to such candidates.

• Following documents required to be submitted at the time of admission for verification; ( First year admission ); mark sheet of SSC  ( 10th examination ), mark sheet of HSC ( Science discipline ), CET mark sheet, proof of date of birth, caste/ Tribe / OBC ( non – creamy certificate ), Aadhar card, income certificates.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences invites application from eligible candidates for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Water Sanitation and Hygiene ( WASH ) programs 2013.

TISS Admission Eligibility Criteria 2013 :

• A bachelor’s degree of a minimum 3 years duration or its equivalent under the 10 + 2 + 3 or 10 + 2 + 4 or 10 + 2 + 2 + 1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirement of 15 years of formal education from a recognised university, with minimum aggregate pass class.
• Pass class in the bachelor’s degree pursued by the applicant will be taken for determining his/her eligibility
• The first, second and third year marks of the bachelor’s degree examinations ( if the degree is of 3 years duration ) or first, second, third and fourth year marks of the bachelor’s degree examinations ( if the degree is of 4 years duration ) of all the subjects taken including major/main, minor/subsidiary and languages, etc, must be shown by the candidates in the application form
• Those marks will be taken into account, while calculating the overall average percentage of marks to determine the marks for academic background
• In case of candidates with a dual degree ( 5 years integrated degree after 12th ), only the marks of first 3 years will be considered to determine the percentage
• Candidates, whose marks are in grade or grade points, must convert the grade or grade points into marks and write them in the appropriate columns in the detailed application form, to be submitted before appearing for personal interview ( PI )
• Age Limit : Candidates must be below the age of 40 years.

TISS Admission Selection Procedure 2013 :

• The candidates satisfying the eligibility requirements will be called for interview by the selection committee.
• The list of the selected candidates will be notified on the institute notice board ( Mumbai and Tuljapur campus ) and on institute website : www.tiss.edu, www.tuljapur.tiss.edu.
• Reservations: As per GoI rules, 15%, 7.5% and 27% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC respectively; 3% seats are reserved for PwD.

TISS Admission Application Form 2013 :

• The information brochure and TISS Admission application form can be obtained by paying 500/- in person at the cash counter of the institute.
• The information brochure and application form, along with the TISS Admission application fee challan can also be downloaded from the TISS website : www.tiss.edu.
• Please note that you have to pay application form fees of 500/- at any branch of State Bank of India along with the fee challan.
• The TISS Admission application will not be considered unless the form is complete and all relevant papers are received in time.
• Candidates should send only attested copies of their certificates along with the TISS Admission application.

TISS Admission Eligibility Criteria 2013 :

• Bachelor’s degree ( 10 + 2 + 3 / 10 + 2 + 4 / 10 + 2 + 2 + 1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education), in any discipline of a recognised university, with 45% of marks ( 35% for SC / ST / OBC ) or a post graduate degree ( after completion of bachelor’s degree under 10 + 2 + 3 or 10 + 2 + 4 or 10 + 2 + 2 + 1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education ) in any discipline and having at least 3 years of work experience after graduation in managerial or supervisory category, preferably in personnel / administration department.
• Age Limit : Age under 40 years as on 31st December, 2012. In special cases, this limit may be relaxed.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences invites admission application for Master’s Degree Programs from its Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad Campuses for the 2013 – 2015.

Campus Preference :

• TISS offers 39 Master’s Degree programs from its Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad campuses for the 2013 – 2015 batch.
• Candidates can apply for a minimum of one and a maximum of five programs across the four tiss campuses.
• However, they can opt for only a maximum of three programs at TISS Mumbai.
• In case the candidate is selected for more than one program after National Common Entrance Test, Pre – Interview Test and Personal Interview, admission will be offered to the program higher in the order of preference.

TISS Admission Eligibility Criteria 2013 :

• A Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent ( under the 10 + 2 + 3 or 10 + 2 + 4 or 10 + 2 + 2 + 1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education ) from a recognised university, in any discipline.
• Candidates who will complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor’s Degree examinations by 9th June, 2012, are also eligible to apply to all the programs ( except the four programs offered by the School of Health Systems Studies) provided they have successfully completed their first and second years, if the degree course is of 3 years; and the first, second and third years, if the degree course is of 4 years.

Orientation to TISS Admission Process 2013 :

• Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PWD and minority communities are invited to attend three day orientation proramme 14th December, 2012 to 16th December, 2012 in different regions of the country.
• Candidates from these categories must indicate the place they would like to attend the orientation program, and an invitation letter from the Office of Dean, Social Protection will reach them 2 weeks prior to the date of orientation program.

TISS Admission Selection Procedure 2013 :

• National Common Written Test : 100 marks
• Pre – Interview Test prior to the Personal Interview : 50 marks
• Personal Interview : 75 marks

Written Test :

• Written test in ONLINE format will be held on 13th January, 2013, in 25 centres in all parts of the country. The ONLINE test is of objective type and even those with a rudimentary knowledge of working with a computer can take the test.
• In case a candidate desires to do the test on paper, he / she must indicate this in the application form.
• The objective test will have questions related to Social Sensitivity; Knowledge on Contemporary issues; Analytical Ability, and Logical Reasoning, Note : Model question paper for National Common Written Test will be placed on TISS website : www.tiss.edu on 30th October, 2012.

Pre – Interview Test :

Eligibility for Pre – Interview Test ( PIT ) / or Personal Interview ( PI ) :

• Short – listing of candidates for the second round of selection ( PIT and PI ) will be based on cut – off marks to be decided later by the Institute.
• Only short – listed candidates will receive call letters for the second round ( PIT and PI ) to be held in Mumbai.
• The PIT consists of either a Group Discussion ( GD ) or a Written Test.

Personal Interview ( PI ) :

• The candidate is expected to be acquainted with the program for which he / she has applied for, as questions may be asked on the topic during the PI.
• Note : PIT and PI will be centrally held in the TISS Mumbai campus for all the programmes across all campuses.
• Thus, candidates short – listed for all programs for the Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad campuses will come to Mumbai for PIT and PI.
