Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi invites admission application for MBBS / BDS Courses admission notification for session 2013.
The Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ) has notified on 11th September, 2012 that there shall be a single eligibility cum entrance examination namely National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET ) for admission to MBBS / BDS courses in pursuance to the notification published in the Gazette of India extraordinary dated 21st December, 2010.
FMSC Delhi Admission Procedure 2013 : 
- Qualifying NEET ( UG ) – 2013 is mandatory to get admission to MBBS / BDS courses Session – 2013 in the institutions approved by the Medical Council of India ( MCI ) and Dental Council of India ( DCI ).
- No candidate who has failed to obtained the minimum eligibility marks as prescribed in NEET ( UG ) – 2013 will be considered for admission to MBBS / BDS courses, Session – 2013.
Important :
- The University of Delhi, Faculty of Medical Sciences shall utilize the marks / merit of NEET ( UG ) – 2013 for admission to MBBS / BDS courses under 85% quota for the Session – 2013.
- Eligible candidates must also apply in prescribed application form to the following address :

University of Delhi Admission Eligibility Criteria 2013 :
- Graduate ( under 10 + 2 + 3 ) in any discipline, with at least 50% marks from the University of Delhi or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto with Maths/Business Maths at class XII level.
- Reservation of seats as per the University rules.
- Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree in 2013 can also apply.
University of Delhi Admission Procedure 2013 :
- CAT result will be used for short listing candidates for the above programmes.
- So a candidate has to appear for the Common Admission Test ( CAT ) conducted by the IIMs.
- IIMs have no role in conduct of the programme.

University of Delhi MIB MHROD Admission 2013 Eligibility Criteria :
- Passed Bachelor’s Degree examination of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto in any discipline, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent thereto in the grading system. Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination may also apply provided they are able to produce their mark sheets before 31st August, 2013.
- Passed Common Admission Test ( CAT ) 2012 conducted by Indian Institute of Managements ( IIMs ) with a minimum percentile of 80%.
- Relaxations if any in the minimum eligibility in the qualifying examination & entrance test, for reserved category students will be as per University rules.
University of Delhi Admission 2013 Selection Procedure :
A three – layered selection procedure, i.e., the CAT Percentile, the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview is followed for admission to both the programs. This is done with a view to identify and process the interpersonal skills in addition to the overall knowledge of the students.
- CAT Score : Students will have to submit CAT score after appearing in the Common Admission Test conducted by IIMs. The candidate has to apply separately for CAT 2012 to IIMs.
- Group Discussion and Interview : Only short-listed candidates on the basis of their CAT percentile are invited for GD and interview at the Department.
- The University / Department reserves the right to change the rules of Selection Procedure.

- Numbers of seats for MIB / MHROD = 73 ( 62+11 ) in or each Program ( General – 31, 0BC -17, SC – 9, ST – 5 = 62 ).
- As per University rules, the seats for PH, CW, and foreign students categories are supernumerary.
- Over and above 62 seats, there are 11 seats ( 2 PH, 3 CW, and 6 FS seats = 11 )

For MBA :

For PhD :
- Candidates are required to take the Common Admission Test ( CAT ) 2012 conducted by Indian Institutes of Management during 11th October, 2012 to 06th November, 2012.
- A minimum work experience of two years is mandatory for all such candidates.
- Candidates exempted from the admission test are required to apply to FMS on the prescribed form along with a DD of 250/ – drawn in favor of “The Registrar, University of Delhi”, by 31st January, 2013.

Delhi – 110007, India. - Foreign nationals studying in Indian Universities are required to appear in the Common Admission Test ( CAT ) 2012, and foreign nationals with Indian degree ( but not currently staying in India ) are required to submit GMAT score ( minimum score 650 ) .
- However, foreign nationals with foreign degrees are required to submit both GMAT and TOEFL scores.
University of Delhi Admission Application Form :
- Candidates can register themselves for admission to MBA ( Full – Time ) and PhD Programs through FMS website www.fms.edu by filling up online registration forms and by paying the requisite fee of 1000/ – ( 350/ – for SC / ST / Physically Challenged category ) for each program.
- Admission to MBA ( Full – Time ) Program will be based on PI, GD and CAT – 2012 score.
- PhD Program will be based on PI and CAT 2012 score, if applicable Applicants may visit www.catiim.in for appearing in the Common Admission Test ( CAT ) 2012.
- Applicants who have not taken CAT – 2012 will not be considered for admission
