- Incomplete / not eligible applications will be rejected with out any further information
- Applicants are requested to refer the college website for further information about admission, rank list etc

VJEC Kannur Selection Procedure 2019
The admission procedure at VJEC is as per the government regulations and the policies of the KCECMA association declared in the prospectus.
- Government allotment : 50% of the total seats in each branch will be filled by the government allotment.
- Community seats in Govt allotment : 10% of the seats in each branch are allotted on community basis by the government. Applicants have to submit the relevant docs to prove their community as per the direction.
- NRI Seats : 15% of the seats are allotted to the NRI category as per norms
- Management allotment : 35% of the seats are allotted under management category on pure merit from the rank list published by the Vimal Jyothi College.

Vimal Jyothi Institute of Management & Research invites admission application for Master of Business Administration ( MBA ) program for the academic year 2018 – 2019.
VJIMR Kannur Admission Eligibility 2018
- Candidates seeking admission to MBA programme are required to have obtained a Bachelors degree ( under 10+2+3 pattern ) in any discipline recognized by Kannur University with 50% marks in aggregate.
- However, candidates belonging to other backward communities are eligible for a concession of 5% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Those belonging to scheduled castes / scheduled tribes having secured a pass in the degree examination are eligible to apply for admission to the course.
- Reservation of seats will be as per the existing university rules.
- Students who are in the final year of any Under Graduation can also apply for the programme, provided they satisfy the eligibility conditions.

VJIMR Kannur Selection Procedure 2018
The admission procedure at VJIM is as per the AICTE and ASC-Govt. of Kerala directions. Admission is based on score of the valid Entrance Examination, Group Discussion and Personal Interview with a weightage of 80:10:10 respectively. Rank list will be published as per the norms and admission will be on the basis of eligibility.
Valid Entrance Score
Admission for MBA at VJIM will be on the basis of a valid score in KMAT / C-MAT / CAT and carries 80% weightage for getting admitted to the programme. A brief description of the accepted entrance tests are mentioned below.
- KMAT-Kerala ( Kerala Management Aptitude Test ) conducted by office of the Admission Supervisory Committee-ASC / Fee Regulatory Committee- FRC for Professional Colleges, Kerala.
- C-MAT ( Common Management Admission Test ) conducted by All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE ), New Delhi.
- CAT ( Common Admission Test ) conducted by Indian Institute of Management.
Personal Interview
- On receipt of the filled in applications, candidates may be called for a personal interview to assess their potentiality for management studies.
- Personal Interview aims at understanding and knowing them better. Academic track records of the candidates, relevant work experiences, business awareness, affinity for the management profession etc will be observed.
- It is also an opportunity to market themselves as the most suitable candidate who deserves that admit card into VJIM.
- Interview call will be initiated from the office or communicated through the media.
Group Discussion
- In the Group Discussion candidate will be assessed on Communication skill, Leadership skill, ability to work in a team, Initiation, assertiveness, flexibility, creativity and ability to think on ones feet.
