VJCET Ernakulam BTech Admission Eligibility 2018
Management Quota
Nationality : Candidates must be citizens of India.
Age : Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December, 2018.
Academic Requirements : Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or an examination recognized equivalent thereto with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
NRI Quota
Age : Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December, 2018.
Academic Requirements : Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or an examination recognized equivalent thereto with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together .
In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered.
Entrance Examination : Candidates are exempted from qualifying in the Engineering Entrance Exam 2018 conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Government of Kerala.
Govt Quota
Nationality : Candidates must be citizens of India.
Age : Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December, 2018.
Academic Requirements : Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered.

VJCET Ernakulam BTech Admission Procedure 2018
- Viswajyothi College of Engineering and technology will fill up 35% of the total seats under management quota on the basis of merit as assessed by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering (Paper I & Paper II put together ), and the grade / marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Computer Science / Biotechnology / Biology put together in the final year of the qualifying examination.
- 15% of the seats will be filled as NRI quota.

VJCET Ernakulam MTech Admission Eligibility
- MTech in CSE : At least 60% marks in BE / BTech in CSE or Information Technology.
- MTech in VLSI & ES : At least 60% marks in BE / BTech in ECE / Applied Electronics / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation.
- MTech in IEM : At least 60% marks in any branch of Engineering.
- For SC / ST candidates, a pass in the above mentioned degrees is sufficient.
- Candidates who have appeared for the final examination can also apply.
