Xavier Institute of Social Service invites admission application for Two – Years Full Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management ( PGDM ) program to the following academic specializations 2013 – 2015 :
- Human Resource Management
- Rural Management
- Information Technology
- Finance
- Marketing
XISS Ranchi Admission Eligibility Criteria 2013 :
- Minimum qualification for admission to the two years full – time PGDM course at the Institute is three / four years bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate ( 45% for SC / ST ) in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities.
- However preference will be given to Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Management and Computer Science graduates and candidates with relevant work experience.
- Candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their graduate degree examination in academic year 2012 – 2013 are also eligible to appear for the admission process. Such candidates, if called for interview, should submit the copy of admit card or a letter from the principal of the college where they are studying to that effect.
- Such candidates if finally selected at XISS, Ranchi must clear their Graduation examination with 50% marks in aggregate ( 45% for SC / ST ) by August, 2013.
XISS Ranchi Admission Selection Procedure 2013 :
Three stage admission process is followed by the Institute as per the guidelines of AICTE. These stages are :
- All India Management Admission Test
- Group Discussion
- Personal Interview
- A candidate desirous of seeking admission in the Institute will have to appear in an all India level management admission test organized by XLRI Jamshedpur ( XAT 2013 on 6th January, 2013 ) or AICTE, Delhi ( CMAT September, 2012 between 27th September, 2012 to 1st October, 2012 ).
- For admission to batches 2013 – 2015, scores of only XAT 2013 and AICTE – CMAT September, 2012 will be accepted. Candidates will have to apply online for appearing in AICTE – CMAT September, 2012.
- Based on XAT 2013 / AICTE – CMAT September, 2012 scores, candidates who have applied for admission at the institute will be shortlisted and will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Weightage for Admission :
- XAT 2013 Scores /AICTE – CMAT September 2012 Scores – 50%
- Past Academic Record – 10%
- Group discussion – 15%
- Personal Interview – 25%
GD / PI Centres for Admission 2013 :
- To be held at Ranchi, New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore during 18th February, 2013 to 2nd March, 2013.
