Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology (PGDA) of 2 years duration is offered by
Archaeological Survey of Inida, Institute of Archaeology, 24-Tilak Marg,
New Delhi - 110 001. Those who have completed M.A. in Ancient/Medieval
Indian History or M.A./M.Sc in Archaeology with 55% marks are eligible for the course. (50% for SC/ST/OBC) Upper age limit is 27 years. Selection is based on written Test and Interview. Applications are invited in June and the session commences in October.

The programmes are of 2 years duration and the course begins in July.

Museology, Anthropology/B.E, B.Arch, B.Town Planning can apply.
Admission is through an entrance test.
