Eligibility Criteria
1.MA English45% in Part I English of BA / BSc Examination or 45% in English Main papers in the case of candidates with English under Part III Patern I or 45% in English main papers in the case of candidates with English under Part III and II. Candidates will be ranked according to the percentage of marks in part I English or Part III in the case of those who have taken English under Part III whichever is higher. A weightage of 10% marks shall be added in the case of those who have taken English under Part III.
2.MA Other Languages45% in Part II Languages concerned of BA/BSc or 45% in the language main papers in the case of candidates with concerned languages under Part III Patern I or 45% in language main papers in the case of candidates with the concerned language under Part III Patern II. A weightage of 5% marks shall be added inthe case of those who have taken concerned language under Part III.
3.MA MusicAdmission to 12 seats is based on the merit restricted to Bachelor degree holder in Music recognised by University of Calicut with a minimum of 45% marks in Part III main ( Excluding Subsidiary ). Admission to remaining 3 seats shall be on the following criteria.
4.MA Economics45% in BA Economics, ForeignTrade,DevelopmentEconomics or 70% makrs in Bsc Statistics,Mathematics. A maximum of 30% of the total seats only will be given to the Bsc candidates.
5.MA History / Politics / Sociology / PhilosophyCandidates who have passed any first degree examination with a minimum of 45% makrs in Part III optional subjects ( excluding subsidiaries ) are eligible.
6.M.ComAny candidate who have passed B.Com or BBA ( BBS ) degree of Calicut University. Or B.Com, BBA, BBM or BBS of any other University or institution in any state recognised by UGC or AICTE with minimum 45% marks.
7.MA in Comparitive LiteratureStudents who have passed a degree course in any of the subjects approved by Calicut University with minimum 45% marks in Language papers either as Part II or Part III.
8.MA ( Other Non Language Subjects )Minimum marks prescribed for admission to other non language subjects is 45% in Part III Optional subjects of BA / BSc ( excluding subsidiaries ).
9.M.ScAt least 50% marks for the concerned optional subjects ( excluding subsidiaries ) at Bsc except for Msc Bio - Technology ( 55% ) and Msc General Bio - Technology ( 55% ). Holders of B.Sc ( Double Main Mathematics - Statistics ) degree will be considered at par with the holders of the B.Sc Statistics Main degree.

M.Sc Physics50% marks in Physics ( Main ) in the B.Sc of Calicut University or other Univeristy with Mathematics as compulsory subsidiary.

DM / MChNational Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET ) SS – 2018 qualified candidates are eligible for admissions to Medical Super Specialty DM & MCh Courses for the academic year 2018 - 2019.Selection for admissions will be made solely on merit, based on All India NEET SS PG –2018 rank secured by candidates.
Admission Counselling for Allotment of all seats will be conducted from DGHS, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi.
Master in Dental Surgery - MDSBDS degree recognized by the Dental Council of India.
Candidates who have secured qualifying percentile for
the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in 2018 are eligible.
Permanent registration from Dental Council of India or any
State Dental Council after completion of compulsory rotating
Internship ( Those who will complete their internship by
31st March 2018 are eligible. Such candidates should produce
their registration certificate on or before 10th May 2018. )
Selection for admissions will be made solely on merit, based on All India NEET MDS - 2018 rank secured by candidates & the counseling for allotment will be conducted only from the DGHS, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi.
MD / MS / PG Diploma CoursesMBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India
Qualifying Percentile & Rank ( AIR-NEET ) secured by the candidate
for NEET PG - 2018 Permanent registration from Medical Council
of India or any State Medical Council after completion of compulsory

30th April 2018 are eligible. Such candidates should produce their

M.Sc. NursingPass in BSc Nursing or Post Basic BSc Nursing with 55% of Marks from a
recognized University + One year work experience after any State Nursing
Council registration.
Rank secured in the entrance examination conducted by Amrita School of Medicine, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, AIMS, Kochi.
M.PharmPass in B. Pharm degree from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy
Council of India ( PCI ) with atleast 50% marks for all the subjects of B.Pharm
course from second year to fourth year. Preference will be given to GPAT
qualified candidates. Candidates with valid GPAT score card, once admitted
to M.Pharm are eligible to receive monthly stipend as per AICTE norms.
Eligible candidates will be invited for a personal interview. Selection will be made on the basis of academic scores and performance in the interview.
Pharm.D. ( Post Baccalaureate )Pass in B. Pharm degree from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy
Council of India ( PCI ) with atleast 50% marks for all the subjects of B.Pharm
course from second year to fourth year. Preference will be given to GPAT

Master of Hospital Administration ( MHA )Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, B. Pharm,
Allied Health Sciences Candidates with qualification in hospital oriented
subjects will be given preference. Graduate with minimum 50% of marks
obtained in their UG Examination
Eligible candidates will be invited for a personal interview. Selection will be made on the basis of academic scores and performance in the interview.
PG Diploma in Medical Radiological PhysicsMSc Physics with minimum 60% of MarksSelection is based on the Marks obtained in the qualifying examination, entrance test and personal interview. The syllabus for the entrance examination is MSc Physics.
Master of Public Health ( MPH )For Indian Students
MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing , MSc Nursing, Pharm D, BSc Social science,
BSc Physiotherapy , Bachelor Degree in AYUSH stream from a recognized
University.The minimum percentage for eligibility to the course is 50%.
Experience in health field related to public health is desirable and is an
added advantage.
For International Students
Should have reasonable score for TOFEL and GRE
Should be governed by Amrita University norms for international admissions.
Selection is based on the Marks obtained in the qualifying examination and Personal In-terview and group discussion.
