A major consulting firm Frost and Sullivan reveals in a report that “the world has now woken up to the fact that India is a country that cannot be ignored while plotting the landscape of Biotechnology industry.” The draft biotech strategy planned by the government has tried to take an over – all look at the current situation and has also suggested several measures to promote innovation and manufacturing. The declared goals are to set a stage for the world – class human capital, build quality infrastructure and address the basic needs of the society.
