Applications are invited from Male Indian nationals for recruitment as Yantriks (Technical Sailors) for the courses commencing in the months of July and January.

Below 22 years as on July 1 of the year of examination. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBCs.

(i) Matriculation and
(ii) Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/ Aeronautical Engineering recognised by Govt of India. (Candidates who have secured less than 50% marks in the above examinations (relaxable to 45% in case of SC/ST candidates) are advised not to apply.)

• Height: 157 cms (may be reduced by 4 cms or 2 cms in some cases).
• Chest: Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion of5 crns.
• Eye Sight: 6/12 (good eye) and 6/24 (bad eye).
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age (+/- 10% acceptable.)

Shortlisted candidates as per the marks obtained in Matric, Diploma and NCC/Sports attainment will be called for Selection Test/Interview in English/Hindi within a reasonable time at convenient Centres. The place and date of test will be intimated to the candidates through call-up letters.
