Kind Attention to AIEEE Aspirants : AIEEE under New Format. AIEEE Conducted by CBSE would now be known as JEE Main 2013. CBSE has announced the detailed information about JEE Main 2013 Entrance Exam. Further details please visit the following links JEE Main 2013.

AIEEE Eligibility 2013 :

1. The minimum academic qualification for appearing in AIEEE 2013 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 ( Class XII ) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination. Those appearing in 10+2 ( Class XII ) final or equivalent examination in 2013 may also appear in AIEEE 2013 provisionally. However, admission criteria in the concerned institution / university will be followed as prescribed by concerned university / institution and as per the guidelines & criteria prescribed by AICTE.

2. Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.E. / B.Tech. and B. Arch. / B. Planning Courses shall be as under :

CourseCompulsory Anyone of the Optional Subjects
B.E / B.Tech* Physics & Mathematics Chemistry, Bio - technology, Computer Science,
Biology
B.Arch / B.Planning**
Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate at 10 + 2 level

* This is as per decision of the All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE ).
** Provisionally as per the orders of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi and directive received from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

3. The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at All India Engineering / Architecture Entrance Examination shall be limited to 03 ( three ) uniformly for all the candidates in consecutive years. The candidates passed +2 exam in 2010, 2011 or appearing in +2 in 2013 are only eligible to appear in AIEEE 2013. Candidates passed +2 in 2009 or before or appearing in 2013 are not eligible to appear in AIEEE 2013.

Date of Birth :

Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st October, 1987 are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste ( SC ), Scheduled Tribe ( ST ) and Persons with Disabilities ( PWD ) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PWD candidates who were born on or after 01st October, 1982 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board / University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

  • Hi, You should meet the eligibility criteria as follows as for appearing JEE exam. *The minimum academic qualification of JEE Main 2013 is that the candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any other qualifying examination in 2013 or 2013; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any other qualifying examination in 2013 are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2013. *Candidates who passed Class 12th / Qualifying examination in 2013 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2013 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE Main 2013. *Candidates who appeared in class 12th / other Qualifying Examinations in 2013, did not pass in 2013, but passed in 2013 are also not eligible to appear in JEE Main 2013. *Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th / any other Qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE Main. In the year 2013 however, the candidates who have taken four subjects are also permitted to write JEE 2013 as an exception.
