All India Engineering / Architecture Entrance Examination – AIEEE 2013

AIEEE Entrance Exam 2013 :

The Central Board of Secondary Education,
All India Engineering / Architecture Entrance Examination ( AIEEE ),
Shiksha Sadan, 17 Rouse Avenue,
Institutional Area, ( Near Bal Bhavan ),
New Delhi – 110 002.

In pursuance of MHRD’s directions and subsequent decision of the JEE Apex Board on JEE Main 2013 and ( Advanced ) held on 25th August, 2012, the JEE Main Examination, 2013 ( hitherto known as AIEEE – Paper I ) for admissions to BE / BTech courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will be held during April, 2013.

AIEEE Entrance Exam Date 2013 :

JEE Main 2013 BE / BTech Offline Exam Date : 7th April, 2013. ( Paper I of earlier AIEEE )

JEE Main 2013 BE / BTech Online Exam : April, 2013.

JEE 2013 BArch / BPlanning Offline Exam Date : 7th April, 2013. ( Paper II of earlier AIEEE )

1. The JEE 2013 Main ( Paper I of earlier AIEEE ) for BE / BTech will be held in two modes, viz JEE Main 2013 Offline and JEE 2013 Main Online ( CBT ) :

• The Offline Examination for JEE Main 2013 will be held on 7th April, 2013
• JEE 2013 Main Online Examinations will be held thereafter in April, 2013.

2. The JEE Main 2013 Examination ( Paper II of earlier AIEEE ) for admissions to BArch / BPlanning courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs :

• JEE Main 2013 Paper II will be held on 7th April, 2013 in Offline Mode only.

AIEEE 2013 Paper Pattern :

i ) The merit list for admission to NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will be prepared by giving 40% weightage ( suitably normalised ) to class XII ( or equivalent examination ) or other qualifying examination marks and 60% to the performance in JEE 2013 Main Examination.

ii ) The JEE Main 2013 ( Paper I of earlier AIEEE ) will have the following JEE Main 2013 Exam Pattern :

• JEE Main 2013 Paper I will have one objective type question paper.
• JEE Main 2013 Paper I will consist of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• JEE Main 2013 Duration of the Paper I will be 3 Hours.

iii ) The JEE Main 2013 ( Paper II of earlier AIEEE ) will have the following JEE Main 2013 Exam Pattern :

• The JEE 2013 Main Paper II for admissions to BArch / BPlanning courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will have one Question Paper.
• JEE Main 2013 Paper II will consist of Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing Test as per past practice of AIEEE.
• The Duration of the JEE 2013 Main Paper II will be 3 Hours.

iv ) Only 1,50,000 of the top rankers in JEE Main 2013, which includes students from all categories ( GE, OBC ( NCL ), SC and ST ) will be eligible to appear in JEE ( Advanced ) – 2013 ( hitherto known as IIT – JEE ) for admission to IITs, IT BHU and ISM Dhanbad. Notice in this regard has been issued by the IIT system separately. AIEEE conducted earlier by the CBSE would now be known as JEE Main 2013.

• sir, for aieee confirmation page On the photograph where attesttion is required , Is only the sign of gazatted officer enough or He has to put stamp also. If stamp is also to be put there is no space. I have taken the sign of the gazzated officer half on the form and the remaning on the photograph. Please suggest at the earlist. regards. Ajit Devale

• Hi, Candidates appearing for both BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Planning together should send their AIEEE application form along with additional fee in the form of Demand Draft of Rs. 400/- for General & OBC and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST. • Hi, AIEEE 2013 Application can either be made ‘Online’ or submitted on prescribed AIEEE Application Form only AIEEE 2013 Application Form can also be obtained by post from the following address or personally from Regional Offices of CBSE and Designated Branches of Syndicate Bank/other Banks/Designated Institutions. • Dear Sir, CBSE gives fair opportunities to students to choose their careers either in Medicine or in Engineering during the XII th class and accordingly students choose groups either A, B or AB (i.e. both Bio & Math). My son has already filled online form for AIEEE exam (pen & paper method). Now rescheduling the exam from 24.04.11 to 01.05.11 has created a problem as on the same day is the exam of AFMC Pune medical entrance (which is a national level exam of repute and can not be ignored by a student aspiring to make medicine as his career). Request to please do the needful at least by changing the exam timings. Awaiting your favourable consideration. Regards

• Hi, AIEEE Exam 2013 will be conducted on 01.05.2013 (Sunday) for the papers 1 & 2. Paper 1 - BE/B.Tech will be held on 01.05.2013 at 0930-1230 hrs (forenoon). Paper 2 - B.Arch, B.Planning will be held on 01.05.2013 at 1400-1700 hrs (afternoon).

• SIR I HAVE APPLIED FOR JEE MAIN PAPER 1 but being unaware was not able to apply for paper2 now is there any way by which i can also give paper 2 or shift my choice from 1 to 2
