Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers AMIETE 2009

Age not less than 16 years, 10+2 or Equivalent with Physics & Maths and working experience in relevant field OR studying for higher qualification with Physics / Electricals / Electronics / Computer/ Science Engineering. OR Diploma.

Diploma (DiplETE)

Age not less than 14 years, 10th or equivalent with General Science and working experience in relevant field OR studying for higher qualification with Physics / Maths/ ITI.

• AMIETE (Degree Level): Examination is recognised by Govt, of India and UPSC for Superior Posts & Services, State Govts, and by a large number of Universities / Institutions for higher education.
• DiplETE (Diploma Level): Examination is recognised by Govt, of India for Subordinate Posts & Services and a number of State Govts, and Union Territories.

IETE Conducts examinations every six months in June and December at its 42 centres in India and abroad.

AMIETE 2009 Prospectus:

Students can obtain details containing Prospectus, Syllabus Enrolment Form and Sample Question papers by remitting Rs.250/- at the nearest IETE Centre or from Secretary General at the address given below.

Students must specify the stream (ET, CS or IT) and course (AMIETE or DiplETE) when demanding Prospectus.

Students can enroll anytime during the year. However, last date for enrolment for December 2009 exam is 31 Aug, 2009 and for June 2009 exam is 28 Feb. 2009.
