Admission to B.Tech/B.E./B.Arch Courses in Rajasthan for the year 2008-09. Applications are invited from eligible candidates of Rajasthan domicile including the wards of Kashmiri migrants for the registration of “Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test RPET)-2008 ”for admissions to Ist year Bachelor of Technology/Engineering/Architecture Courses for the seats to be notified by the Government in the State of Rajasthan for the academic year 2008-09 and conducted by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU),Kota. Date of RPET 2008 For admission to B.Tech./B.E.courses a candidate must appear in the RPET-2008 scheduled on 22 nd May, 2008 (Thursday) from 9 a.m.to 12 noon. |

Rajasthan PET 2008 Exam Cities: Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Churu, Hindaun City, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur, Kota, Pilani, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Sri Ganganagar, Tonk, Udaipur. Duration: The single examination of three hours duration shall consist of 40 objective type questions in each of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics totally 120 questions with one mark each. For admission to B.Arch course a candidate must appear for NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) in 2008 conducted by the council of Architecture.However,their admission shall be decided by admission committee of RPET –2008 based on the ranking of NATA and marks in the qualifying examination. RPET 2008 Academic Eligibility: The minimum academic qualification for admission through RPET-2008 is pass in the 10+2 (Class XII) with Physics &Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Sc./Biology as one of the optional subjects from Board of Secondary Education,Rajasthan or any other equivalent examination. RPET 2008 Application Form: Candidates shall submit two xerox copies (A-4 size) of application form published in the news paper/our website www.rtu.ac.in/rpet-2008 Candidate shall submit application forms in two sets along with a demand draft of Rs.900/-(Rupees Nine Hundred only) in favour of “Coordinator,RPET-2008 ” payable at Kota .The candidate shall write his/her Name,Address and Choice of town on backside of D.D. The completed application form along with relevant documents in duplicate in A-4 size envelop should reach latest by 25.4.2008 up to 5.00 p.m by speed post/registered post/by person only to Coordinator,
Application sent through courier is not acceptable. Candidate shall write a) choice of town and b) D.D.No & Date with name of issuing branch on the right top of A-4 size envelope.Address of the Candidate shall be written at left bottom of envelope. Permission to appear in RPET-2008 shall not guarantee for fulfilling eligibility criteria for admission and only the eligible candidates as per RPET-2008 rules will be considered for counseling and subsequent admission. RPET 2008 Syllabus: Syllabus,Sample Paper & other relevant details will be supplied along with admit card,However,same may also be downloaded from our website www.rtu.ac.in/rpet-2008 Candidates are advised to keep photocopy of filled application form,all documents and D.D.for future reference.
