The Commissionerate of Entrance Examinations ( CEE ) is conducting thirteen distinct Entrance Examinations for admission to Professional  Courses every year : Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Degree ( KEAM ), Three year LLB , Five year LLB,  LLM, MCA,  PG Ayurveda, PG Dental,  PG Homoeo, PG Medical, PG Nursing, PG Medical Super Specialty, M.Pharm, and B.Pharm (Lateral Entry). The Commissionerate is also making allotments to KEAM, Three year LLB, Five year LLB, LLM and MCA courses.

The allotment to KEAM, Three year LLB , Five year LLB and MCA are made through a Single Window System of the Centralised Allotment Process ( CAP ).

Kerala CEE MDS 2017 Entrance Exam

The Director of Medical Education, ( DME ) Government of Kerala admits students to Post Graduate courses in Dental Surgery ( MDS Master of Dental Surgery ) in eight different specialties, conducted in the Government Dental Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode and Kottayam and to Govt seats in the Self financing Dental Colleges in the State, duly approved by DCI and who have consensually agreed for seat sharing with Government. A total of 62 seats are available in Government Dental Colleges in the State for the year 2017.

Duration of the Kerala MDS 2017 Course

  • The academic duration of the course shall be three calendar years (36 months) from the date of commencement of the course. No reduction in the duration of the course shall be granted.
  • The date of commencement of the Course and the last date of completion of admission process will be as per the time schedule fixed by the Government of India / Supreme Court of India. For this purpose, the time schedule annexed with DCI Regulations, 2006 as amended from time to time will be strictly adhered to. Accordingly, the MDS Courses will start on 2nd May 2017. The last date of admission shall be 31st May 2017.
  • There shall be no admission of students in respect of any MDS course beyond 31st May 2017 under any circumstances. The Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur shall not register any student admitted after the said date. The Kerala State Admission Supervisory / Regulatory Committee or the Dental Council of India ( DCI ) may direct, that any student identified as having obtained admission after the last date of closure of admission to be summarily discharged from the course of study, or any dental specialty qualification granted to such a student shall not be a recognized qualification for the purpose of registration under the Indian Dentists Act, 1948. Any Self financing institution which grants admission to any student after the last date specified for the same, and in violation of condition of admissions as prescribed by DCI or by the State shall also be liable to face such action as may be prescribed by Kerala State Admission Supervisory Committee or DCI including surrender of seats equivalent to the extent of such admission made from its sanctioned intake capacity for the succeeding academic year. Further, Kerala University of Health Sciences may also take steps to dis-affiliate such Colleges who violate / repeatedly violate the said rule.

Kerala MDS 2017 Eligibility

All candidates including Service Quota candidates seeking admission to Post Graduate Dental courses in the State of Kerala for the academic year 2017-18 shall have to qualify the National Eligibility –Cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate Dental Courses ( NEET MDS-2017 ) conducted by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi and should figure in the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

In order to be eligible for admission to any Post Graduate Dental course in 2017-18, it shall be necessary for candidates including those who apply under Service Quota to obtain a minimum of marks at 50th percentile in the NEET MDS 2017. However in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste ( SC ), Scheduled Tribes ( ST ), Socially and Educationally Backward Classes ( SEBC ), the minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile. In respect of candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum marks shall be at 45th percentile

Rank and Category lists shall be prepared by the CEE based on the NEET MDS 2017 as per the eligibility provisions contained in the Prospectus for admission to MDS-2017.

(A) : Qualifying Professional – BDS Examination :

(1)

  1. The candidate / applicant must be an Indian National / Person of Indian Origin,
  2. Possessing a BDS degree from an approved Dental College and duly awarded by any one of the Universities in Kerala or duly recognized by the Government of India as equivalent thereto under the Indian Dentists Act, 1948 and who has.
  3. Obtained permanent registration from the Kerala State Dental Council after passing the final BDS examination or its equivalent there to with eligibility for full Registration in Kerala State Dental Council in all respects, and has,
  4. Completed one year ( 12 months ) Compulsory Rotating Internship in an approved / recognized Dental College shall be eligible.
  5. Applicants who have completed or who will complete one year Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship ( CRRI ) as per DCI Regulations on or before 31-03-2017 are eligible to apply for admission.
  6. Admission to the candidate will be given only on the production of the Registration of Kerala State Dental Council in original, and in the case of those already registered, on producing an up to date, annual valid renewal certificate of the Registration in the Kerala State Dental Council.

2. The condition of one year Compulsory Rotating Internship is not applicable to those candidates who had passed their final BDS Examination on or before 1988 and hold a BDS Degree from a Dental College duly recognized by the Dental Council of India and have obtained provisional or permanent registration from the Kerala State Dental Council.

3. However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination ( BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GOI / DCI ), is undergoing 12 month compulsory rotating internship / practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March, 2017 can take up the P.G. Dental ( MDS ) Entrance Examination, Kerala 2016, but he / she shall not be eligible for admission unless he / she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained permanent registration on or before 31st March, 2017 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he / she will be completing internship by 31st March, 2017.

4. No condonation of CRR – Internship of 12 months period shall be accepted except in respect of :

  1. The students of the batch admitted during the academic session 2007 – 2008 and have completed 4½ year BDS Course along with 06 months compulsory rotating internship and
  2. The students admitted during the academic session 2006-2007 at Rajah Muthiah Dental College, Annamalai University those have completed 05 years BDS Course without internship. Further, the dates indicated by candidates with regard to 12 months Compulsory Rotating Internship i.e. starting date, completion date, shall be treated as final and candidates will be required to submit the original Compulsory Rotating Internship completion certificate at the time of counselling.

5. The cut off dates for the recognition of the Dental Colleges, from where the candidates have passed their BDS Degree Course and completed compulsory rotatory Internship for the year 2017 will be 31st October, 2016. The Colleges recognized after this date will not be considered.

6. Candidates who are already pursuing an MDS Course in Kerala State in any University or in another University outside the State are not eligible for admission unless / till they complete the course duration of the MDS course which is 3 years / 36 calendar months. Such candidates who are already pursuing MDS Courses in seats secured through either the All India Quota or State Quota and are applying for a seat in the Kerala State pool MDS seats in 2017, are however at liberty to vacate the seat so occupied by them by paying liquidated damages as prescribed for the seat occupied by them as per the Prospectus of the year of their admission, failing which they will be refused for admission in 2017. Such candidates may opt for the specialty subject and the college at their own risk and cost.

(B) Nativity :- Applicants should satisfy any of the following conditions :

  1. Be an Indian Citizen of Kerala Origin. Persons of Indian Origin ( PIO ) / Overseas Citizen of India ( OCI ) Card Holders will be treated on par with Indian Citizens for the limited purpose of admission. However, PIO / OCI candidates will not be eligible for any kind of reservation.
  2. Candidates, who are sons / daughters of Non – Keralite parents and have obtained BDS degree from any of the Dental Colleges in Kerala State but they will not be eligible for communal / PD reservation benefits.

(C) Age :

  1. There is no upper age limit for General Quota ( GQ ) candidates.
  2. For Service Quota candidates, other than from Medical Education Services Quota ( MESQ ), whose retirement age is 56 years the upper age limit will be 48 years for Post Graduate Degree Courses as on 01-01-2017. But for those candidates in the service of DHS, who submit a bond ( Rupee.100/- non judicial stamp paper ) at the time of admission, that they shall serve the Government of Kerala in any capacity which the Government deems fit after their retirement, up to the age of 60 years ( the retirement age in MES and IMS ),as per the terms and conditions prescribed by the Government and that they will not take up employment elsewhere during this period if the government has requisitioned their services, the upper age limit of such service candidates drawn from DHS will be 52 years for PG Degree course
  3. Form MESQ candidates, upper age limit will be 52 years as on 01st January, 2017

Kerala MDS 2017 Application Form

A qualified candidate in NEET MDS-2017 seeking admission to the coursesshould apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Application fee for General candidates is Rupee.1000/-( Rupees Thousand only ) and in the case of SC / ST candidates and those eligible for SC / ST benefits as per G.O (Ms) No.25/05/SCSTDD dated 20.06.2005 is Rupee.500/-( Rupees Five Hundred only ). Service candidates seeking admission in General Quota also, should pay extra amount of Rupee.1000/-. The application forms and the prospectus will not be available from the Dental Colleges or from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Step wise procedure on how to apply using Online Application Form :

(i) There are 5 steps for the online submission of application and all the steps are mandatory. Candidates should complete all steps and the candidates are advised to keep the printout of the application for future reference. For the online submission of application, candidate has to visit the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in where he/she can find the link “PG Dental 2017 – Online Application”.

Step 1 : Candidate Registration

This is a one-time process. Candidate should provide NEET testing ID and Date of birth for entering the registration page. Date of birth must be same as that of NEET registration page. Candidates will be prompted to enter mobile number and create a password and as outcome of the registration process a system generated unique Application Number will be displayed which the candidate has to note down and use for the rest of the application submission process as well as the allotment process. Candidates are advised to create a strong, unique password.

The requirements of a strong password are :

  • A minimum length of 8 characters
  • A minimum of one alphabet character [ a-z or A-Z ]
  • A minimum of one number ( 0-9 )
  • A minimum of one symbol [ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ]

The candidate has to re-enter the password for confirmation.

There will be a Security question and candidates should provide an answer to it. For further login, candidates have to note down all the information provided during this stage.

Don’t use a shared password or disclose the password to others. Be informed that the application number and password will be required through the remaining stages until the end of the admission process for accessing all the online facilities related to PG Dental 2017.

Step 2 : Fill Application

All the basic information required for processing your application are to be filled in at this stage. Before filling the details, please read the Prospectus carefully.

The data provided here will be used for processing the application. Any mistake in filling this page or providing false/incomplete/wrong information will affect the candidate’s eligibility for admission or claim for reservation under any category.It is obligatory that the candidate should fill all the mandatory items in the application

Candidates should take utmost care while filling the Online Application. Applicant should ensure that the data provided are correct before proceeding to the next step.

Final Submission of Application

If the candidate is sure that the information provided in step 2 are correct, click the link ‘Final Submission’.

Note: – No modification will be possible after the Final submission.

Step 3 : Pay Application Fee

Two payment methods are available for remitting the application fee.

  • Online Payment
  • e-Challan

Online Payment

The Application fee can be paid through online payment. Those having an Internet banking account, Credit card or Debit card can make use of this
feature. Candidates availing this facility should read and follow each of the instructions given in the website carefully in order to ensure that the payment is successful. On successful payment, the candidate will be guided back to the home page wherein he/she will find the ‘Payment’ tab at the top turned green and the candidate can take printout of the application. If the payment transaction was unsuccessful, a message to that effect will be displayed on the screen and the candidate would be guided back to the homepage. On the other hand, if the candidate fails to receive the final confirmation (success or failure) message and is uncertain about the outcome of the transaction, due to communication failure or otherwise, he/she can re-login to the home page and inspect the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab at the top to see if it’s green or not. If it has not turned green, the payment has not succeeded and the candidate may try for online payment afresh or resort to the e-challan payment mode. If the candidate’s account is debited for an unsuccessful transaction, the amount will be reverted to his/her account within five working days.

e-Challan Payment (Post Office)

When the mode of payment is e-Challan, the applicant needs to take printout of e-Challan by clicking the link ‘Print e-Challan’. Payment can be made in cash at any of the Head and Sub Post Offices in Kerala. The e-Challan should be handed over to post office counter along with the required cash.

The post office’s official will make necessary entries both in their online portal and e-Challan form. The counter foil of the e-Challan must be collected back from the post office official. It must be ensured that the official has recorded the Transactiion ID pertaining to the payment on the counterfoil of the eChallan and put the office stamp and his/her initials at the designated places on the counterfoil. If the payment was successful, the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab in the candidate’s home page turns green. Candidates are advised to login to the website and examine the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab to make sure that the fee status has been updated by the post office official. If the payment tab has not turned green, the candidate should immediately contact the concerned post office and get the payment status updated. The list of Post Offices for collecting application fee is published in the website.

Step 4: Upload Signature and certificates

Upload Signature of Candidate

  • On a plain white sheet, the candidate should put his/her signature with black/blue ink. Scanned image of Signature must be clear.
  • Scan this signature and crop around the signature. Do not scan the full sheet. Scanned image file should be in jpg format. (Jpeg)
  • Dimensions of the image of signature must be 150 pixels width and 100 pixels height.
  • File size should be below 30 KB.

Upload Documents/Certificates

  • The uploaded document should be in PDF format.
  • The file size must not exceed 300 KB.
  • The document should be clear enough to read.

Read before uploading Documents/Certificates

  • The Originals of the uploaded documents should be furnished before the admitting authority as and when required.
  • The uploaded documents will be verified with the original documents by the admitting authority and the documents will be accepted only after this verification.
  • It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure the correctness and clarity of the documents uploaded.
  • Uploading of any false or bogus documents may lead to disqualification of the candidacy.

Certificates / Documents to be uploaded

Each of the required Certificates must be scanned into a PDF file and uploaded. The scans should be of the original documents and in colour (if the original document was issued in colour).

Step 5 : Print Application

After completing uploading of all the necessary certificate/documents, take a printout of the application and the uploaded documents by clicking on the link ‘Print Application’. Candidates are advised to keep the printout of the application for future reference. No need to send the printout of the application or any supporting documents to the office of the CEE.

Kerala MDS 2017 Admit Card

1. The Admit Card for the Entrance Examination can be downloaded from the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, www.cee.kerala.gov.in. The candidates will have to enter their Application number and Date of Birth provided in the application form in order to download the admit card. They will have to take a printout of the admit card. Admit cards will not be sent by post from the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.The venue of the examination and time table will be noted in the admit card. Separate notification in this regard will be issued.

2. Memo will be sent to candidates whose application has been rejected.

3. No memo will be sent by post in the case of defective applications. The defects in the applications will be displayed on the homepage of the candidate while attempting to download the admit card by giving his/her Application Number and Date of Birth. Defects if any, should be rectified within the dates specified in the notification pertaining to the download of admit cards.

4. All candidates whose application has been accepted should download their admit card well in advance. A candidate who does not possess the Admit Card will not be admitted to the Examination Hall under any circumstances.

Kerala Post Graduate MDS 2017 Seats Reservation

Distribution of Kerala CEE Seats :

The distribution of seats under State quota for MDS degree courses in the three Government Dental Colleges for 2017 in respect of eight specialties. The rotations carried over / continued from previous year is indicated in the notes. The College wise, category wise and specialty wise distribution of seats.

Allotment of Seats under State General Merit Quota and other Reservation Quotas :-

1. Out of the total seats available for the various Dental specialties, in Government Dental Colleges and in 50% Government seats in Self Financing Dental Colleges, seats will be reserved for different categories.

2. Reservation for All India Quota for MDS Courses : These are the 50% seats set apart in MDS courses in Government Dental colleges in the State for candidates allotted by Government of India-DGHS, through the NEET MDS-2017. These are not included in this prospectus

3. Reservation for Persons with Disabilities : Leaving the seats set apart under Clause VI.1.1 , three percent (3%) of the total seats available for the State Quota, for all the courses in all the Government Dental Colleges are reserved for the candidates with physical disabilities. In case no qualified candidates are available, the seats will go to General Merit.

4. State General Merit quota – Leaving the 3% seats set apart for Persons with physical disabilities, 50% of the remaining seats under State Quota will be allotted under General Merit ( GM ).

5. Reservation for Socially and Educationally Backward classes ( SEBC ) : Leaving the seats set apart for Persons with disabilities ( 3%), 9 % of the remaining seats under State quota shall be reserved for candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes. The percentage break up of seats as per the SEBC reservation is as shown.

  1. Ezhava ( EZ ) – 3 %
  2. Muslim ( MU ) – 2 %
  3. Other Backward Hindu ( BH ) – 1 %
  4. Latin Catholic ( LC ) – 1 %
  5. Other Backward Christian ( BX ) – 1 %
  6. Kudumbi ( KU ) – 1 %

6. From 2012 Specialty wise reservation has been introduced for SEBC category, and hence the seats will be rotated and the rotation will be carried forward to successive years. If a duly qualified candidate is not available for admission from a particular community, it will be rotated to other communities in the sequence listed in clause Vl 1.4. However more than one seat on rotation will not be given to the same community. For example in the absence of a Kudumbi (KU) candidate, it will be rotated in the order of (c), (d) and (e), provided no seat is reserved for any of the communities mentioned in (c), (d) and (e) respectively.

7. The seats if any unavailed by the Reservation candidates will be transferred to State Merit quota.

8. Reservation for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes ( SC / ST ) :- Leaving the seats set apart for Persons with disabilities, 10 % of the remaining seats under State quota will be given to Scheduled Caste (8%) and Scheduled Tribe (2%) candidates. Specialty wise reservation will be on rotation and the rotation if required will be carried forward to successive years.

9. Un-availed seats of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe : The seats un-availed of by the SC candidates will go to the ST candidates and vice versa. The seats un- availed by both the SC and ST candidates will go to OEC Categories. OEC candidates should furnish Non-Creamy layer Certificate obtained from the Village officer concerned for the claim of un-availed seats of SC and ST candidates. The seats the still remain unavailed of, if any will go to the General Merit Quota.

10. Reservation for Government Service candidates :- Reservation not exceeding 31% will be reserved for Dental Surgeons in Kerala Government Service under the Directorates of Medical Education, Health Services and Insurance Medical Services. This is variable from year to year and whether such a reservation in respect of any category is essential, will be decided by the Prospectus Committee of Government.

11. Reserved Seats under Service Quota when so made, shall carry over as follows :

  1. Seats reserved for MESQ shall revert to HSQ and if there are no candidates in HSQ, it shall revert to IMSQ
  2. Seats reserved for HSQ shall revert to MESQ and if there are no candidates in MESQ, it shall revert to IMSQ
  3. Seats reserved for IMSQ shall revert to MESQ and if there are no candidates under MESQ, it shall revert to HSQ.

Summary : The split up of the reservations will thus be as follows :

Total No of MDS Seats in Government Dental Colleges : 50% will be All India Quota. 50% will be State Quota. From the State Quota seats, leaving the 3% seats set apart for persons with disabilities, not less than 50% seats are distributed as General merit and the remaining seats are distributed as follows :

  • 9% : – SEBC
  • 10% :- 8%,SC / 2% ST
  • 31% :- Service Quota

Kerala PG Medical Entrance Exam Pattern 2017

Kerala CEE MDS Scheme of Examination and method of Evaluation :

All candidates including Service Quota Candidates seeking admission to P.G Dental courses for the academic year 2017-18 will have to appear for the NEET MDS-2017 conducted by the National Board of Examinations. The candidates are requested to refer the National Board of Examination website for detailed schedule of NEET MDS-2017. The selection of the candidates shall be made from the rank list prepared by Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Kerala on the basis of NEET MDS 2017 ranklist subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions

Rank List and Category List

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala will prepare and publish the rank list and category lists of SC, ST, SEBC and PD candidates under General Quota qualified in NEET MDS 2017 and as per the eligibility conditions in clause 4 of the prospectus. The list will be made available in the website “www.ceekerala.org” and Press release will also be given regarding the publication of the lists.

The rank list of Service Quota Candidates qualified in NEET MDS-2017 will be prepared by the CEE as per prospectus, by the DME/DHS/DIMS as the case may be.

The selection under General Merit Quota and SC / ST / SEBC / PD candidates are purely on the basis of rank list and category list prepared by the CEE, Kerala. Candidates are advised to verify the rank list and category lists published by the Commissioner for entrance Examinations, and satisfy themselves regarding their position in the list, such as, inclusion under different categories, eligibility for communal / special reservation, etc. Complaints, if any, in this regard may be sent to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, within a period specified in the publication of the lists concerned, for necessary action. Revised Category list will be published after considering the objections / complaints, filed by the candidates. Complaints received thereafter will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Inclusion in the merit list or allotment, will not entitle the applicant for admission to the course, unless the applicant satisfies the rules regarding the eligibility for admission to MDS courses as laid down in the Prospectus for Admission to the Post Graduate Dental ( MDS ) Surgery Courses-2017.

Declaration of Kerala CEE MDS Results 2017

(i) The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will publish the “Answer Key” of the PG Dental Entrance Examination, Kerala 2017 on the website of kerala CEE www.cee-kerala.org after the completion of the Entrance Examination.

(ii) If any candidate has any complaint regarding the answer key / questions, the same should be submitted to the CEE, in writing along with supporting documents and a fee of Rupee 300/- for each question or answer key being challenged, by way of DD in favour of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Payable at Thiruvananthapuram, within the notified time from the date of publication of answer keys on the website of the CEE. If the complaint filed is found to be genuine, the fee remitted while filing the complaint will be refunded. Complaints received after the stipulated date and without requisite fee will not be considered under any circumstances. Complaints received by E-mail / Fax will not be considered on any account.

(iii) All complaints on Answer key received will be referred to subject expert committee to be constituted by the CEE. The recommendations of the Committee will be final. Necessary modifications will be made in the published answer keys based on the recommendations of the Committee. Individual reply will not be given to the candidates on the decision of the committee.

Kerala Common Entrance Examination 2017

Applications are invited for the Kerala Common Entrance Examination 2017 for admission to Post Graduate Degree Course in Pharmacy ( M.Pharm ) and Pharm.D [ Post Baccalaureate ] in the following specialties :

Kerala CEE PG Pharmacy 2017 Eligibility

i) Nativity : Only Indian citizens of Kerala origin are eligible for admission to the courses. Necessary proof in this regard should be submitted along with the application.

ii) Academic Eligibility

M.Pharm : The candidates who have passed the B.Pharm Degree examination from any of the Universities in Kerala or from any other Universities recognised by the Kerala University of Health Sciences as equivalent thereto from an institution recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and Pharmacy Council of India, with a minimum of 55% marks for all the Three years of B.Pharm Examination ( B.Pharm II, III, IV year ) taken together, will be eligible for admission. For service candidates seeking admission against the reserved quota, the minimum marks required shall also be 55%. Candidates who have passed their B.Pharm course from Universities outside Kerala will be eligible for admission only if their qualifying examination is recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences before the last date specified for submission of academic data.

Pharm D ( PB ) : The candidates who have passed the B.Pharm Degree examination from any of the Universities in Kerala or from any other Universities recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences as equivalent thereto from an institution recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and Pharmacy Council of India, with a minimum of 50% marks for all the Three years of B.Pharm Examination ( B.Pharm II, III, IV year ) taken together, will be eligible for admission. Candidates who have passed their B.Pharm course from Universities outside Kerala will be eligible for admission only if their qualifying examination is recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences before the last date specified for submission of academic data.

For candidates belonging to SC / ST communities a minimum of 50% marks for all the Three years of B.Pharm Examination ( B.Pharm II, III, IV year ) taken together, will be eligible for admission.

All applications claiming Service Quota shall be forwarded through the Heads of concerned Departments ( DME / DHS / DIMS / DRUGS CONTROLLER ).

Age

There is no upper age limit for General Quota candidates

Duration

M.Pharm : The duration of the M.Pharm course shall be of two academic years full time with each academic year spread over a period of not less than two hundred working days

Pharm.D [ Post Baccalaureate ] : The duration of the course shall be for three (3) academic years (two years of study and one year intern ship or residency)

Kerala CEE PG Pharmacy 2017 Selection

Selection of candidates, including service quota candidates, will be made based on the rank of the qualified candidate in GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST ( GPAT ) – 2017 conducted by All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE ), New Delhi and subject to other eligibility criteria prescribed in this prospectus. Those who are not qualified in GPAT-2017 are not eligible for admission.

Selection of candidates under service quota will be based on service seniority and other eligibility criteria including qualified rank in GPAT-2017.

Kerala CEE 2017 Application Form

A qualified candidate in GPAT-2017 seeking admission to the courses should apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Application fee

General / SEBC candidates ( including service category ) : Rupee. 600/- SC / ST candidates : Rupee. 300/-

Step wise procedure for applying online

There are S steps for the online submission of application and all the steps are mandatory. Candidates should complete all steps and the candidates are advised to keep the printout of the application for future reference. For the online submission of application, candidate has to visit the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in where he/she can find the link “M. Pharm and Pharm. D ( PB ) 2017 – Online Application”

Step 1: Registration

This is a one-time process. Candidate should provide GPAT-2017 testing ID and Date of birth for entering the registration page. Date of birth must be same as that of GPAT-2017 registration page. Candidates will be prompted to enter mobile number and create a password and as outcome of the registration process. A system generated unique Application Number will be displayed which the candidate has to note down and use for the rest ofthe application submission process as well as the allotment process. Candidates are advised to create a strong, unique password. The requirements of a strong password are:

  • a minimum length of 8 characters
  • a minimum of one alphabet character [a-z or A-Z]
  • a minimum of one number (0-9)
  • a minimum of one symbol [! @ # $ % ^ & *]

The candidate has to re-enter the password for confirmation.

Step 2: Fill Application

All the basic information required for processing your application are to be filled in at this stage. Before filling the details, please read the Prospectus carefully.

The data provided here will be used for processing the application. Any mistake in filling this page or providing false / incomplete / wrong information will affect the candidate’s eligibility for admission or claim for reservation under any category. It is obligatory that the candidate should fill all the mandatory items in the application.

  • Candidates should take utmost care while filling the Online Application.
  • Applicant should ensure that the data provided are correct before proceeding to the next step.

Final Submission of Application : If the candidate is sure that the information provided in step 2 are correct, click the link ‘Final Submission’.

Step 3: Pay Application Fee

Two payment methods are available for remitting the application fee.

  • Online Payment
  • e-Challan

Online Payment

The Application fee can be paid through online payment Those having an Internet banking account, Credit card or Debit card can make use of this feature. Candidates availing this facility should read and follow each of the instructions given in the website carefully in order to ensure that the payment is successful. On successful payment, the candidate will be guided back to the home page wherein he/she will find the ‘Payment’ tab at the top turned green and the candidate can take printout of the application. If the payment transaction was unsuccessful, a message to that effect will be displayed on the screen and the candidate would be guided back to the homepage. On the other hand, if the candidate fails to receive the final confirmation ( success or failure ) message and is uncertain about the outcome of the transaction, due to communication failure or otherwise, he/she can re-login to the home page and inspect the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab at the top to see if it’s green or not. If it has not turned green, the payment has not succeeded and the candidate may try for online payment afresh or resort to the e-challan payment mode. If the candidate’s account is debited for an unsuccessful transaction, the amount will be reverted to his/her account within five working days.

e-Challan Payment ( Post Office )

When the mode of payment is e-Challan, the applicant needs to take printout of e-Challan by clicking the link ‘Print e-Challan’. Payment can be made in cash at any of the Head and Sub Post Offices in Kerala. The e-Challan should be handed over to post office counter along with the required cash.

The post office’s official will make necessary entries both in their online portal and e-Challan form. The counter foil of the e-Challan must be collected back from the post office official. It must be ensured that the official has recorded the Transactiion ID pertaining to the payment on the counterfoil of the e- Challan and put the office stamp and his/her initials at the designated places on the counterfoil. If the payment was successful, the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab in the candidate’s home page turns green. Candidates are advised to login to the website and examine the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab to make sure that the fee status has been updated by the post office official. If the payment tab has not turned green, the candidate should immediately contact the concerned post office and get the payment status updated. The list of Post Offices for collecting application fee is published in the website.

Step 4: Upload Signature and certificates

Upload Signature of Candidate

  • On a plain white sheet, the candidate should put his/her signature with black/blue ink. Scanned image of Signature must be clear.
  • Scan this signature and crop around the signature. Do not scan the full sheet. Scanned image file should be injpg format. ( jpeg )
  • Dimensions of the image of signature must be 150 pixels width and 100 pixels height.
  • File size should be below 30 KB.

Upload Documents / Certificates

  • The uploaded document should be in PDF format.
  • The file size must not exceed 300 KB.
  • The document should be clear enough to read.

Read before uploading Documents /C ertificates

  • The Originals of the uploaded documents should be furnished before the admitting authority as and when required.
  • The uploaded documents will be verified with the original documents by the admitting authority and the documents will be accepted only after this verification.
  • It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure the correctness and clarity of the documents uploaded.
  • Uploading of any false or bogus documents may lead to disqualification of the candidacy.

Certificates / Documents to be uploaded

Each of the required Certificates must be scanned into a PDF file and uploaded. The scans should be of the original documents and in colour ( if the original document was issued in colour ).

Step 5: Print Application

After completing uploading of all the necessary certificate / documents, take a printout of the application and the uploaded documents by clicking on the link ‘Print Application’. Candidates are advised to keep the printout of the application for future reference. No need to send the printout of the application or any supporting documents to the office of the CEE.

Kerala CEE BPharm Lateral Entry 2017 Eligibility

Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian citizen of Kerala origin.

Academic qualifications: Candidates should have studied Diploma in Pharmacy(Under Education Regulations 1991 of Pharmacy Council of India) in an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy examination conducted by the State Board of D Pharm Examinations or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for the D. Pharm part I and D. Pharm II Examinations.

Age: There is no upper age limit for admission to the course.

Kerala CEE BPharm Lateral Entry 2017 Exam Pattern

Selection of candidates for Bpharm (Lateral entry) course 2017 will be made on the basis of an Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, [CEE] at Thiruvananthapuram on 22nd October, 2017 (Sunday). The examination will consists of one Paper, of two hours duration and will have 120 Objective Type (Multiple Choice) Questions.

Kerala CEE BPharm Lateral Entry 2017 Reservation of Seats

1) Seats available in Government Colleges will be filled by Director of Medical Education. In the case of self financing colleges, 50% of the Government quota seats will be filled by the Director of Medical Education, on the basis the rank obtained in the Entrance Examination and 50% by the management.

2) Lapsed seats from the Government quota will be filled by the Director of Medical Education and management quota will be filled by the concerned management on the basis of the rank obtained in the Entrance Examination.

3) Percentage Distribution of seats as per mandatory reservation principles in the case of seats allotted by Director of Medical Education will be as follows :

a) Kerala CEE BPharm  Lateral Entry Reservation for State Merit is 64 seats.

Kerala CEE BPharm Lateral Entry 2017 Application Form

All candidates seeking admission to B.Pharm (Lateral entry) course 2017 can apply in the Online application form available from 04th October, 2017 provided in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and then remit the required fee by way of online payment or by way of e-challan available during the submission of online application. Payment through e-challan can be made in cash at Head / Sub post offices in Kerala. After remitting the required application fee upload photo and signature of the candidates and all necessary certificates / Documents. No need to send printout of the application or any documents to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Application Fee for General Candidates is Rupee.800/- ( Rupees Eight hundred only ). In the case of SC candidates is Rupee.400- ( Rupees Four hundred only ). ST Candidates are exempted from the payment of application fee. Application fee once remitted will not be refunded. Application form will not be available in the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations or office of the DME. The Prospectus can be downloaded from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in

Last date and time for online submission of application: All candidates seeking admission to the course should submit the online application along with uploaded Certificates / Documents mentioned in clause 7.3.5 of the prospectus before 5 pm of 12th October, 2017. Late, defective and incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. No correspondence will be undertaken in this regard. Candidates have to take a printout of the online application form for future reference.

Candidates will be allowed, neither to include any information in the application form nor to submit any certificates / Documents claiming reservation or any benefits, after the submission of the application.

Kerala CEE MD Homoeopathy Entrance Exam 2017

Kerala CEE MD Homoeopathy 2017 Eligibility

Nationality : Only Indian Citizens are eligible for admission to the Post Graduate courses.

Educational Qualifications

Applicants who have qualified the AIAPGET 2017 and are seeking admission to the three MD courses shall submit their applications online on the basis of Notification to be issued by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala. The Commissioner shall take necessary steps
to complete the allotment process, based on the eligibility criteria detailed below, as per norms.

The eligibility criteria for AIAPGET2017 detailed under para 3 of the Information Bulletin cited, will be applicable for applicants seeking admission on the basis of Notification issued by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala. The applicants should be in possession of BHMS/Graded BHMS degree/Provisional Pass BHMS Certificate recognized as per the provisions of HCC 1973 Act and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCH/State Board/Universities/Deemed Universities and have completed one year of internship before the date of counselling. Recognition of the college and course by the University as well as Central Council of Homoeopathy must be essential for under graduate level.

Candidates found to be ineligible at any stage of AIAPGET 2017 will not be permitted to appear in the counselling. Candidates who are completing their internship after counseling or are likely to complete after counseling are ineligible to participate in the admission process.

The dates indicated by candidates in regard to 12 months Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship ie. Starting date, completion date, shall be treated as final and candidates will be required to submit the original Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship completion certificate at the
time of counselling.

Since some of the Universities/Institutions are having regulations that candidates who are already pursuing any PG course in their University or in another university are not eligible for admission till they complete the course. The candidates who are already pursuing PG courses either through All India Quota or State Quota and are applying for a seat underthe Kerala University of Health Sciences in this regard. MoA/AIIA/State Government/Principal and Controlling Officer/Commissioner of Entrance Examinations will not be responsible if such candidates are refused admission. Such candidates may opt for the subject and the college at their own risk and cost. The eligibility criteria will be as per CCH Regulations and notifications of Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.

Since as per Clause 1.1.4, the AIIA/MOA has no role in counselling, and since the candidature for the entrance exam is purely provisional, and considering the fact that the authenticity of the documents have not been verified by the AIIA/MoA the qualified candidates attending the counselling sessions shall submit originals along with attested copies of all documents

How to Apply for the Admission

All candidates seeking admission to the course should apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Applications can be submitted in online mode only, and all the supporting documents are to be uploaded only. The Application forms and Prospectus will not be available from any of the Homoeo Colleges or from the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination.

Application Fee

A candidate who does’nt belong to SC / ST communities will be treated as “General Candidate” for the collection of application fee. The application fee for all candidates will be as follows :

  • General candidates including Service Candidates. : Rupee. 900/-
  • SC /ST candidates : Rupee. 450/-

Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Procedure for applying online

There are 5 steps for the online submission of application and all the steps are mandatory. Candidates should complete all steps and the candidates are advised to keep a softcopy or printout of the application for future reference. For the online submission of application, candidate has to visit the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in where he/she can find the link “ PG Homoeo 2017- – Online Application”.

Step 1: Registration

This is a onetime online process during which the candidates will get a system generated ‘Application Number’. The candidates should give necessary basic data and create a strong password during the registration process. Candidates are advised to create a strong, unique password. The
requirements of a strong password are:

  • a minimum length of 8 characters
  • a minimum of one alphabet character [ a-z or A-Z ]
  • a minimum of one number ( 0-9 )
  • a minimum of one symbol [ ! @ # $ % ^ & *  ]

Step 2: Fill Application

All the basic information required for processing your application are to be filled in at this stage. Before filling the details, please read the Prospectus carefully.

The data provided here will be used for processing the application. Any mistake in filling this page or providing false / incomplete / wrong information will affect the candidate’s eligibility for admission or claim for reservation under any category. It is obligatory that the candidate fill all the mandatory fields in the application.

Candidates should take utmost care while filling the Online Application. Applicant should ensure that the data provided are correct before proceeding to next step.

Final Submission of Application : If the candidate is sure that the information provided in step 2 are correct,  click the link ‘Final Submission’.

Step 3: Pay Application Fee

The application fee for all candidates will be as follows :General candidates including Service Candidates : Rs. 900/- SC/ST : Rs. 450/- Two payment methods are available for remitting the application fee.

  • e-Challan

Online Payment

The Application fee can be paid through the online payment gateway. Those having an Internet banking, Credit card or Debit card can make use of this facility. Candidates availing this facility should read and follow each of the instructions given in the website carefully in order to ensure that the payment is successful. On successful payment, the candidate will be guided back to the home page wherein he/she will find the ‘Payment’ tab at the top turned green and can proceed to uploading of photograph, signature and supporting documents. If the payment transaction was unsuccessful, a message to that effect will be displayed on the screen and the candidate would be guided back to the homepage. On the other hand, if the candidate fails to receive the final confirmation ( success or failure ) message and is uncertain about the outcome of the transaction, due to communication failure or otherwise, he/she can re-login to the home page and inspect the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab at the top to see if it’s green or not. If it has not turned green, the payment has not succeeded and the candidate may try for online payment afresh or resort to the e-Challan payment mode. If the candidate’s account is debited for an unsuccessful transaction, the amount will be reverted to his/her account within five working days.

e-Challan Payment ( Post Office )

If the mode of payment selected is e-Challan, the applicant needs to take printout of e-Challan by clicking the link ‘Print e-Challan’. Payment can be made in cash at any of the Head and Sub Post Offices in Kerala. The eChallan should be handed over to post office counter along with the required cash.

The post office’s official will make necessary entries both in their online portal and e-Challan form. The counterfoil of the e-Challan must be collected back from the post office official. It must be ensured that the official has recorded the Transactiion ID pertaining to the payment on the counter foil of the e-Challan and put the office stamp and his/her initials at the designated places on the counterfoil. If the payment was successful, the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab in the candidate’s home page turns green.

Candidates are advised to login to the website and examine the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab to make sure that the fee payment status has been updated by the post office official. If the payment tab has not turned green, the candidate should immediately contact the concerned post office and get the payment status updated. The list of Post Offices for collecting application fee is published in the web site.

Step 4: Upload Photograph, Signature and Documents / Certificates

Upload Photograph of Candidate

  • A studio generated soft copy of latest passport size color photograph with light coloured background in jpeg format between 10 kb to 30 kb of size and resolution 150 x 200 pixels is to be used for uploading.
  • The photograph should not be taken with the candidate wearing Cap or Goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly. POLAROID and COMPUTER / MOBILE-PHONE generated photos are not acceptable.

Upload Signature of Candidate

  • On a plain white sheet, the candidate should put his/her signature with black/blue ink.
  • Scan this signature and crop around the signature. Do not scan the full sheet. Scanned image file should be in jpg format. ( Jpeg )
  • Dimensions of the image of signature must be 150 pixels width and 100 pixels height.
  • File size should be below 30 KB.
  • Scanned image of signature must be clear and complete

Upload Documents / Certificates

  • All necessary certificates/documents to be uploaded should be in PDF format
  • File size of each document / certificate should not exceed 300 KB.
  • The scanned images should be of the original documents /certificates and should be clear enough to read.

Read before uploading documents / Certificates

  • The Originals of the uploaded documents should be furnished before the admitting authority as and when required.
  • The uploaded documents will be verified with the original documents by the admitting authority and the documents will be accepted only after this verification.
  • It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure the correctness and clarity of the documents uploaded.
  • Uploading of any false or bogus documents may lead to disqualification of the candidacy.

Certificates / Documents to be uploaded in the Online Application.

  • The relevant page of the SSLC or other authentic school record to prove Date of Birth.
  • Certificate to prove Nativity from a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar and Certificate of Region of Education.
  • Certificate showing the fact that the candidate belongs to the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / OEC / SEBC issued by a Competent Officer from Revenue Department.
  • Certificates to prove educational qualifications in Homoeopathy with self attested copies of their mark lists.
  • Registration Certificate issued by the respective State Medical Council / Central Council of Homoeopathy. ( If the applicants do not possess the Registration Certificate, they shall produce the CRRI certificate at the time of admission )
  • A Certificate from the Head of the Department / Institution to show that the candidate is working in such Department/Institution .
  • A No Objection Certificate furnished by the Head of Department / Institution in the case of employees.
  • An attested copy of the certificate of disability from the District Medical Board certifying the degree of percentage of disability issued not earlier than 3 months prior to the submission of application has to be attached with the application form.
  • Candidates belonging to SEBC and OEC have to produce NonCreamy Layer Certificate for their category claims.
  • Migration certificate, if applicable
  • Intercaste marriage certificate, if applicable
  • Any other documents mentioned in the Notification of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations

Step 5: Print Application

After completing the uploading of all necessary certificates / documents, candidates can take a printout of the application and the uploaded documents by clicking on the link ‘Print Application’. Candidates are advised to keep a soft copy or printout of the application for future reference. Printout of application or any supporting document should not be sent to the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Last date and time for online submission of application

All candidates seeking admission to the course should submit the online application along with uploaded Certificates/Documents mentioned of the prospectus before 5 pm of 19th October, 2017. Late, defective and incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. No correspondence will be undertaken in this regard

Candidates will be allowed, neither to include any information in the application form nor to submit any certificates / Documents claiming reservation or any benefits, after the submission of the application.

Issue of Kerala CEE MD Homoeopathy 2017 Admit Cards

The Admit Cards for the candidates appearing for the Entrance Examination will be available online in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from October, 2017 onwards. The candidates may take the printout of the Admit Card which can be used for identification of the candidate in the examination hall.

Belated, incomplete, defective and wrongly addressed applications will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be undertaken in this regard. Candidates will be allowed neither to include any information in the application form nor to submit any certificates / documents claiming reservation or any other benefits, after the submission of the application. Candidates must note that they have to obtain the required certificates in the respective format given in the Application form. The certificates, which are not in the format specified in the application form, will not be considered.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will conduct the Entrance Examination, publish the Rank list of candidates based on merit as assessed in the Entrance Examination and forward the same to Chairman and Convenor of the Selection Committee. The Selection Committee will make the allotments and forward the Select list to the Colleges concerned for making admission.

NOTE : The seats are subject to the final approval of CCH and department of AYUSH as per the latest PG Regulations of 2016. Though there are 36 seats totally allotted to the two Government Homoeopathic Colleges, at Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikkode, as per Annexure to the Bulletin cited, only 35 are offered due to administrative reasons. So there will be variation in the total number of seats and distribution of seats subject to decision of CCH, KUHS, Department of AYUSH, Government of India and State Government.

Kerala CEE PG Ayurveda 2017 Eligibility

Nativity : Applicant should be an Indian Citizen.

Age : Candidate should not be over 45 years of age as on 31.07.2017, subject to a relaxation of five years in the case of SC / ST candidates. The upper age limit of Service candidates is 50 years as on 31.07.2017.

3. Academic Qualifications : Candidates should have obtained BAM /Ayurvedacharya / BAMS from the colleges having CCIM recognition and BAMS Degree of Universities in Kerala or its equivalent degree recognized by the University of Kerala with 50% of marks for theory and practical separately in each subject. But exemption for minimum marks prescribed for admission for MD (Ay) / MS (Ay) is granted to the students who have passed the BAMS /BAM examination before 1995 from the Universities of Kerala without 50% of marks for theory and practical. Applicants who had completed compulsory internship on or before 31.08.2017 are eligible to apply for admission subject to the production of Internship Certificate from the Medical Council constituted in this regard.

Kerala CEE PG Ayurveda 2017 Exam Pattern

All candidates including Service Quota candidates seeking admission to P.G. Ayurveda courses for the academic years 2017-18 will have to appear for the AIAPEGT MD/MS ( Ayurveda ) 2017 conducted by the AIIA. The candidates are requested to refer the AIIA website for detailed schedule of AIAPGET MD/MS ( Ayurveda ) 2017. The selection of candidates shall be made from the rank list prepared by commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala on the basis of AIAPEGT MD/MS ( Ayurveda ) 2017 rank list subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions as in the prospectus.

Rank List and Category List

The commissioner for Entrance Examination, Kerala will prepared and publish the rank list and category list of SC, ST, SEBC and PD candidates under General Quota qualified in AIAPEGT MD/MS ( Ayurveda ) 2017 and as per the eligibility conditions as the prospectus.

The list will be made available in the website www.cee-kerala.org and press release will also be given regarding the publication of the lists.

The rank list od Service Quota candidates qualified in AIAPEGT MD/MS ( Ayurveda ) 2017 will be prepared by the CEE, as per the prospectus by the DAME as the case may be.

The selection under General Merit Quota and SC / ST / SEBC / PD candidates as purely on the basis of rank list and category list prepared by the CEE, Kerala. Candidates are advised to verify the rank list and category lists published by the commissioner for Entrance Examination, and satisfy themselves regarding their position in the list, such as, inslusion under different categories, eligibility for communal / special reservation, etc. complaints, if any in this regard may be sent to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, within a period specified in the publication of the lists concerned, for necessary action. Revised category list will be published after considering the objections / complaints, filed by the candidates. complaints received thereafter will not be entertained under any circumstances.

SC / ST / SEBC candidates in Kerala should note that they have to obtain Community certificate / Community certificate & income certificates in the body of the application form itself. The certificates received after the submission of the application print out will not be considered.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will publish the rank list of candidates based on merit as assessed in the Entrance Examination and forward the same to the Director of Ayurveda Medical Education.

The selection and allotment of seats including those under Service Quota will be made by the Director of Ayurveda Medical Education, based on various provisions laid down in the Prospectus.

Kerala Medical PG Entrance Exam 2017

Kerala Medical PG Entrance Examination applications are invites for the admission to Post Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma ( MD / MS ) Courses ( Excluding All India Quota ) in the Medical Colleges / Institutions in the State for the academic Year 2017 – 2018.

Duration of Kerala Medical PG Course 2017

The duration of the course including University Examination is 3 years in the case of Degree Courses and 2 years in the case of Diploma Courses. There shall be an exemption of one year in the duration of PG degree courses in respect of candidates who have done P.G. Diploma course of two years and awarded Diploma in the same subject. The candidates must have acquired the P.G. Diploma pass certificate on or before April, 2017 for being eligible for reduction in the duration of the course. No other reduction in the duration of the course shall be granted.

The date of commencement of the Course and the last date of completion of admission process will be as per the time schedule fixed by the Government of India / Medical Council of India / Supreme Court of India.

Eligibility for Kerala Medical PG Admission 2017

  1. Academic Qualifications : Applicants should be in possession of MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate recognized by MCI with MBBS qualification registered permanently or provisionally with MCI or State Medical Council and should have completed one year of internship or likely to complete it on or before 31st March 2017. Admission to such candidates will be given only after obtaining registration of T. C. Medical Council.
  2. Nativity : Applicants should have satisfied any of the following conditions.
    1. Indian Citizens of Kerala origin. Persons of Indian Origin ( PIO ) / Overseas Citizens of India ( OCI ) will also traded at par with Indian Citizens for the limited purpose of admission, provided they execute a bond to serve as Senior Resident for 3 years as envisaged in Clause 13.1.(c) of the prospectus. However POI / OCI candidates will not be eligible for any kind of reservation.
    2. Candidates who are sons / daughters of Non – Keralite parents, who have obtained MBBS Degree from any of the Medical Colleges in the State of Kerala. But they will not be eligible for Communal / Special / PD reservation benefits.
  3. Age : There is no Upper age limit for General Quota candidates.
  4. Under ordinary circumstance (i.e. for those Service quota candidates, whose retirement age is 56 years) the upper age limit for getting admission will be 49 years for Post Graduate Diploma Courses as on 01-01-2017, for Service candidates. For those candidates in the service of Director of Health Service, who submit a bond ( Rupee.100/- non judicial stamp paper ) at the time of admission, that they shall serve the Government of Kerala in any capacity which the Government deems fit after their retirement, up to the age of 60 years as per the terms and conditions prescribed by the Government and that they will not take up employment elsewhere during this period if the Government has requisitioned their services, the upper age limit of such service candidates drawn from Director of Health Service will be 53 years for PG Diploma courses.
  5. Qualifying Criteria : All candidates seeking admission to Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma courses in the State of Kerala for the academic year 2017-18 shall have to qualify the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduate Courses (NEET PG-2017) conducted by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi. In order to be eligible for admission in any Post Graduate Medical course in 2017-18, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain a minimum of marks at 50th percentile in the NEET PG 2017. However in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), the minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile. In respect of candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum marks shall be at 45th percentile.

Selection and Kerala PG Medical Entrance Exam 2017

All candidates seeking admission to P.G Medical (Degree/Diploma) courses for the academic year 2017-18 will have to appear for the NEET PG-2017 conducted by the National Board of Examinations. The candidates are requested to refer the National Board of Examination website for detailed schedule of PGM-2017.The selection of the candidates shall be made from the ranklist prepared by Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Kerala on the basis of NEET PG 2017 ranklist subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions as in Clause 4 of the prospectus.

Ranklist and Category List

The Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Kerala will prepare and publish the rank list and category lists of candidates qualified in NEET PG-2017 and who satisfy the eligibility conditions as in Clause 4 of the prospectus. The rank list will be made available in the website www.cee-kerala.org. The selection under general merit quota and SC/ST/SEBC/PD/Ex-Service/Health Service quota will be purely on the basis of the rank list and category list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala.

Weightage to Service Quota Candidates

The Medical Council of India (MCI) norms prescribes weightage in marks for candidates in Government Services serving in difficult and remote areas given as an incentive. In-service candidates under Medical Education/Health Services/Insurance Medical Service/Municipal Service, who have completed 2 Years of service (Period necessary for completion of probation as Assistant Surgeon), are therefore eligible for weightage of marks for the service rendered in such areas.

Center of Kerala PG Medical Examination 2017

Kerala PG Medical Entrance Examination for the year 2017 will be conducted at three centers viz.

  • Thiruvananthapuram
  • Ernakulam
  • Kozhikode.

The venue of the Examination will be indicated in the Admit Card which can be downloaded from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from the date notified by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala.

Submission of Kerala Medical PG 2017 Applications and Application Fee

How to apply

A qualified candidate in NEET PG-2017 seeking admission to the courses should apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Application fee for General candidates is Rupee.1000/- ( Rupees Thousand only ) and in the case of SC / ST candidates and those eligible for SC / ST benefits as per G.O (Ms) No.25/2005/SCSTDD dated 20.06.2005 is Rupee.500/-( Rupees Five Hundred only ). The hard copy of application form and prospectus will not be available from the Medical Colleges or from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Step wise procedure for applying online

There are 5 steps for the online submission of application and all the steps are mandatory. Candidates should complete all steps and the candidates are advised to keep the printout of the application for future reference. For the online submission of application, candidate has to visit the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in where he/she can find the link “PG Medical 2017 – Online Application”.

Step 1: Registration

This is a one-time process. Candidate should provide NEET testing ID and Date of birth for entering the registration page. Date of birth must be same as that of NEET registration page. Candidates will be prompted to enter mobile number and create a password and as outcome of the registration process a system generated unique Application Number will be displayed which the candidate has to note down and use for the rest of the application submission process as well as the allotment process. Candidates are advised to create a strong, unique password. The requirements of a strong password are:

a minimum length of 8 characters
a minimum of one alphabet character [a-z or A-Z]
a minimum of one number (0-9)
a minimum of one symbol [!@#$%^&*]
The candidate has to re-enter the password for confirmation.

Step 2 : Fill Application

All the basic information required for processig your application are to be filled in at this stage. Before filling the details, please read the Prospectus carefully.

The data provided here will be used for processing the application. Any mistake in filling this page or providing false/incomplete/wrong information will affect the candidate’s eligibility for admission XE “admission” or claim XE “claim” for reservation under any category XE “category” . It is obligatory that the candidate should fill all the mandatory items in the application.

Candidates should take utmost care while filling the Online Application. Applicant should ensure that the data provided are correct before proceeding to next step.

Step 3: Pay Application Fee

Two payment methods are available for remitting the application fee.

  • Online Payment
  • e-Challan

Online Payment

The Application fee can be paid through online payment. Those having an Internet banking account, Credit card or Debit card can make use of this feature. Candidates availing this facility should read and follow each of the instructions given in the website carefully in order to ensure that the payment is successful. On successful payment, the candidate will be guided back to the home page wherein he/she will find the ‘Payment’ tab at the top turned green and the candidate can take printout of the application. If the payment transaction was unsuccessful, a message to that effect will be displayed on the screen and the candidate would be guided back to the homepage. On the other hand, if the candidate fails to receive the final confirmation (success or failure) message and is uncertain about the outcome of the transaction, due to communication failure or otherwise, he/she can re-login to the home page and inspect the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab at the top to see if it’s green or not. If it has not turned green, the payment has not succeeded and the candidate may try for online payment afresh or resort to the e-Challan payment mode. If the candidate’s account is debited for an unsuccessful transaction, the amount will be reverted to his/her account within five working days.

e-Challan Payment (Post Office)

When the mode of payment is e-Challan, the applicant needs to take printout of e-Challan by clicking the link ‘Print eChallan’. Payment can be made in cash at any of the Head and Sub Post Offices in Kerala. The e-Challan should be handed over to post office counter along with the required cash.

The post office’s official will make necessary entries both in their online portal and e-Challan form. The counter foil of the e-Challan must be collected back from the post office official. It must be ensured that the official has recorded the Transactiion ID pertaining to the payment on the counter foil of the e-Challan and put the office stamp and his/her initials at the designated places on the counterfoil.

If the payment was successful, the ‘Pay Application Fee’tab in the candidate’s home page turns green. Candidates are advised to login to the website and examine the ‘Pay Application Fee’tab to make sure that the fee status has been updated by the post office official. If the payment tab has not turned green, the candidate should immediately contact the concerned post office and get the payment status updated. The list of Post Offices for collecting application fee is published in the web site.

Step4: Upload Signature and certificates

  • On a plain white sheet, the candidate should put his/her signature with
  • black/blue ink. Scanned image of Signature must be clear.
  • Scan this signature and crop around the signature. Do not scan the full sheet.
  • Scanned image file should be in jpg format. (Jpeg)
  • Dimensions of the image of signature must be 150 pixels width and 100 pixels height.
  • File size should be below 30 KB.

Upload Documents/Certificates

  • The uploaded document should be in PDF format.
  • The file size must not exceed 300 KB.
  • The document should be clear enough to read.

Kerala PG Medical Admit Card 2017

Candidates eligible to appear for the Entrance Examination for admission to Kerala PG Medical ( Degree / Diploma ) Courses 2017 will be issued with the admit cards which can be downloaded from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

The selection and allotment of seats including those under Service Quota will be made by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations through the Centralized Allotment Process ( CAP ) as per Clause 11 of the Prospectus for admission to Medical Post Graduate Degree / Diploma courses 2017, approved by the Government of Kerala.

Candidates may go through the various provisions of the Prospectus for admission to Medical Post Graduate Degree / Diploma courses 2017 approved by the Government as per GO(Rt) No. 3978/2015/H&FWD dated: 10.12.2015 and the Important Instructions available in the Official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations at www.cee-kerala.org before filling up the “Online application forms”
