PPIFT AIFET Entrance Examination 2015

All India footwear entrance test is a standardised test administered to facilitate colleges of footwear technology under Prannath Parnami Universe to screen candidates for admission to B.des / BSc ( FT ) / MSc ( FT ) / BBA / MBA / ACFD / ASFT and allied programs.

Note : Candidates appearing in final year exam would be provisionally allowed to apply for the AIFET, 2015. However, such candidates are required to submit mark sheet of final year at the time of admission. In case candidates fail in the final year exams his / her admission application would be treated as rejected. “All India Footwear Entrance Test 2015”

 

IFDT AIFET 2015 Admission Procedure

    1. Aspirant must have to apply for AIFET, 2015.
  1. On the basis of All India Footwear Entrance test ( AIFET ) an all India merit list will be prepared.
  2. The short listed students will be called for the physical counselling at PPIFT campus.
  3. Reservation of seat on the basis of rank in merit list.
  4. Submission of registration fees.

All India Footwear Entrance Test Counselling / admissions will continue till all the seats at different campuses get filled – up. Candidates will be called in the counselling room as per their rank on the basis of merit in AIFET, 2015. Institute does not take any responsibility for any inconvenience caused to parents / candidates due to closure of the counselling prior to their turn.

A candidate who is allotted a seat will be required to pay an amount of Rupee 25000/- immediately on the spot at the time of counselling / admission to reserve the seat. The amount submitted shall not be refunded in case of withdrawal of admission. The candidates will be given seven working days to deposit the balance fee.

IFDT AIFET 2015 Reservation & Exemption

All India Footwear Entrance Test Reservation for SC / ST & PH Candidates 

Institute reserves 15% seats for Scheduled Caste for Scheduled Tribe ( ST ) candidates respectively in each program in both sponsored as well as non-sponsored category. 3% seats are reserved for physically handicapped students in each program as per the persons with Disability Act 1995. Such candidates should submit the disability certificate issued by State / Central medical authority certifying their disability as 40% or more.

Exemption

Candidates having attempted CAT / MAT are exemption from appearing in the written test of PPIFT. However their CAT / MAT score shall be considered as per the following criteria – The CAT / MAT percentile will be equated at par with PPIFT percentile. Marks corresponding to the nearest percentile of the candidate who has appeared in the PPIFT written test will be allotted and the candidate having CAT / MAT percentile will be positioned just below such candidate.

For example the candidate having 92.84 percentile in MAT will be equated to the nearest percentile of candidate appeared in PPIFT written test, which is say 92.75 and the marks corresponding to the percentile is 160 / 300 in the case the CAT student with 92.84 percentile will also be allotted 160 marks. However, in case of CAT student who has also appeared in PPIFT written examination, the best of the two marks as per the above method shall be allotted. Similar formula will be applied in case of MAT candidates as well.

The Score of CAT / MAT prior to Sep 2012 examination shall not be considered.

A common merit list of written test will be prepared for candidates appeared in the written test of PPIFT and applied under CAT & MAT category. Accordingly, short listed candidates will be called for GD, Interview and Design Aptitude Test ( DAT ).
