Eligibility for Jammu Kashmir BPEE CET B.Ed Course:
A candidate:
1. must be a permanent resident of Jammu and Kashmir State
2. passed B.A/ BSc / B.Com/ BBA/ BCA (Final) examination under 10+2+3
3. an open category candidate must have obtained not less than 50%marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
4. a reserved category candidate must have secured not less than 40% marks in aggregate.
8. Post Graduate Course in Ayurveda

Eligibility for Post Graduate Course:
A candidate:
1. must be a be a permanent resident doctor of the Jammu and Kashmir State or a non-permanent resident doctor. Non State subject candidate can also apply.
2. possesses B.A.M.S. degree from the University of Jammu or an equivalent Degree recognized by the University Of Jammu, University Of Kashmir and the Central Council of Indian Medicine.
3. must have completed satisfactorily one year’s pre-registration compulsory rotatory internship in a duly recognized institution as laid down by the University of Jammu/ University of Kashmir for registration as a medical graduate.
4. must be eligible in terms of Notification SRO-08 of 2005.
5. For candidate applying Under Rural Service category:-
6. The rural service means service rendered in areas at least 20 Kms away from the Municipal /Town area limits from the shortest possible routes.
7. The rural service certificate should be issued by Director ISM to the effect that the candidate has served in the rural areas for 5 or more than five years
SRO-08: The Government hereby direct that in the Jammu and Kashmir Government Medical Colleges (selection of candidates for post graduate Degree/ Diploma Courses) Procedure Order 1995 issued vide SRO 158 dated 12th July 1995 as amended vide Notification SRO 57 dated 31-01-2002 and Notification SRO 364 dated 21st October, 2003 for the provisions to sub clause (V) of clause 3 the following provisions shall be substituted namely:-“ provided that Doctors who have done their Post Graduate or Diploma Courses in any specialty at the Government expenses shall be entitled to seek admission for undergoing further Post Graduate or Diploma in another specialty in the State Medical Institution on payment of such fee as may be notified by the Government from time to time;
Provided further that the Doctors who are doing Post Graduation / Diploma Courses in any specialty at the Government expenses shall not be eligible to apply for undergoing Post Graduate Courses in any other specialty in the State medical institutions till completion of their Post Graduation/ Diploma Courses, as the case may be.” By the orders of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
