AP EAMCET 2015 Eligibility

1. AP EAMCET Eligibility for Engineering :

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for AP EAMCET 2015 :

a. Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin ( PIO ) / Overseas Citizen of India ( OCI ) Card Holders.

b. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. The candidates should satisfy Local / Non – Local status requirements as laid dow n in the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. Educational Institutions ( Regulation of Admission ) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

c. For Engineering, B.Pharmacy ( M.P.C ), B.Tech. ( Dairy ), B.Tech. ( Ag.Engineering ), B.Tech. [ Food Science and Technology ( FS & T ) ], B.Sc. [ Commercial Agriculture and Business Management ( CA & BM ) ] courses :

  1. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, along w ith bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from academic year 2000 onwards, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Inter mediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
    OR
    Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
    1. In the case of Engineering, Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
    2. In the case of B.Tech. ( Dairy Technology ), B.Tech. ( Ag. Engineering ), B.Tech. ( FS & T ) and B.Sc. ( CA & BM ), candidates should have candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.

d.

  1. For Pharm D course candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as optionals conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma Examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana State Board of Technical Education and training.
  2. Candidate should obtain atleast 45% marks ( 40% in case of candidate belongs to reserved category ) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
  3. The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the above course.

2. AP EAMCET Eligibility for Medical :

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for AP EAMCET 2015 :

1. Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin ( PIO ) / Overseas Citizen of India ( OCI ) Card Holders.

2. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. The candidates should satisfy Local / Non – Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana Educational Institutions ( Regulations of Admission ) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

3. A. For B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. ( Ag ) / B.Sc. ( Hort ) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. ( FS & T ) / B.Sc. ( CA & BM ) courses :

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of intermediate examination ( 10+2 pattern ) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below :

With any two of the subjects :

a) B.Sc. ( Ag. )

  1. Physical Sciences
  2. Biological or Natural Sciences
  3. Agriculture
  4. Vocational Course in Agriculture

b) B.Sc.( Hort )

  1. Physical Sciences
  2. Biological or Natural Sciences
  3. Agriculture
  4. Vocational Course in Agriculture

c) B.V.Sc. & A.H

  1. Physical sciences
  2. Biological or Natural Sciences
  3. Vocational Courses in Veterinary Sciences

d) B.F.Sc.

  1. Physical Sciences
  2. Biological or Natural Sciences
  3. Vocational Courses in Fishery Sciences

e) B.Tech. ( FS & T )

  1. Mathematics
  2. Physical Sciences

or

  1. Physical Sciences
  2. Biological or Natural sciences

f) B.Sc. ( CA & BM )

  1. Mathematics
  2. Physical Sciences

or

  1. Physical Sciences
  2. Biological or Natural Sciences

Note :

  1. Irrespective of the subjects taken at the qualifying examination, candidates seeking admission to the above courses should appear for Biology, Physics and Chemistry in AP EAMCET 2015.
  2. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC / ST candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission.

B. For MBBS / BDS Courses ( as per GO Ms.No. 195 dated 07-07-2011 ) :

  1. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology ( Botany and Zoology ) / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology ( Botany and Zoology ) / Bio Technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe & Backward Classes, the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Bio Technology.
  2. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

C. For BAMS / BHMS / BNYS Courses :

  1. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as optional which shall include a practical test in each subject.
    1. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
    2. There is no maximum age limit for admission into BAMS / BHMS / BNYS.

D. For B.Pharm Course :

  1. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana as equivalent thereto.
  2. Candidates should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admission or on such other date as may be notified by the CET committee. There is no upper age limit

E. For B.Tech. ( Bio – Technology ) Course :

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals, along with the bridge course examination in mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana shall be eligible.

F. For Pharm D Course :

  1. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the diploma examination in pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
  2. The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the above course.

TS EAMCET 2015

TS EAMCET 2015 Eligibility

1. Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for TS EAMCET 2015 :

a. Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin ( PIO ) / Overseas Citizen of India ( OCI ) Card Holders.

b. Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy Local / Non – Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Educational Institutions ( Regulation of Admission ) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

c. For Engineering, Bio – Technology, B.Tech. ( Dairy Technology ), B.Tech. ( Ag. Engineering ) and for 50% seats in B.Pharmacy, B.Tech. ( Food Science and Technology ( FST ) / B.Sc. ( Commercial Agri & Business Mgt. ( CA & BM )) Courses :

  1. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled during 2000-2002 and subsequent batches, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh, provided that candidates who have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh shall also be eligible for the Bio-Technology course.

    Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / A.P.
  2. Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2 pattern.
  3. In the case of Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
  4. In the case of B.Tech. ( Dairy Technology ), B.Tech. ( Ag. Engineering ), B.Tech. ( FST ) and B.Sc. ( CA & BM ), Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.

d. For Pharm D Course ( 50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi.P.C candidates ) :

  1. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology optionals conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training.
  2. Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks ( 40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category ) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
  3. Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

2. For B.Sc. ( Ag. ) / B.Sc. ( Hort. ) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. and for remaining 50% seats in B.Tech. ( FST ) / B.Sc. ( CA & BM ) Courses :

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of in termediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below :

With and two of the subjects :

i. B.Sc. ( Agriculture )

  • Physical Sciences
  • Biological or Natural Sciences
  • Agriculture
  • Vocational Course in Agriculture

ii. B.Sc. ( Horticulture )

Note :

  • Irrespective of the subjects taken at the qualifying examination, candidates seeking admission to the above courses should appear for Biology, Physics and Chemistry in EAMCET 2015.

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as optional which shall include a practical test in each subject.
    • Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
    • There is no maximum age limit for admission into BAMS / BHMS / BNYS.

7. TS EAMCET 2015 Eligibility for B.Pharm Course :

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology optionals, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.
  • Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks ( 40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category ) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates should have completed 16 years of Age by the date of commencement of Admissions or on such other date as may be notified by the CET Committee. There is no upper age limit.

8. For B.Tech. ( Bio Technology ) Course :

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals, along with the bridge course examination in mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh shall be eligible.

  • Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks ( 40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category ) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

Proof of satisfying the marks criteria in respect of candidates who appeared for the Qualifying examination during the year should be furnished within 7 days after publication of the examination results by the concerned examination Board.

Criteria for EAMCET 2015 Ranking : The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in EAMCET 2015 and candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in EAMCET 2015 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.
