    Candidates possessing MBBS degree from any recognized institution are eligible to apply for the course. In - service personnel with the above qualification, working in health Institutions / organization in Central / State Govt. or Public Sector having 5 years experience, of which at least 3 years should be in Public Health activities are eligible. Such candidates, at the time of counselling for admission, would need to furnish a letter from their employer that if they are admitted, they would be relieved for 2 years for under taking the course on full time basis at NCDC. Admission will be done on All India Basis and the guidelines of Govt. of India, applicable to Central Govt. Educational Institutions will be followed.

(ii) The candidate who has studied either Civics ( Political Science ) or History or Geography or Economics will be eligible to take Social Science as one of the teaching subject ; (iii) The second teaching subject can be chosen either from the main subjects or subsidiary subjects passed by the candidate at the graduation level or at 12th level. (iv) The B. Com Students shall not be given Commerce / Business Studies / Accountancy / Economics as teaching subjects as these subjects are not taught at the elementary and secondary level in schools. (b) Candidates having passed Bachelor’s degree in Basic Sciences with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university and having studied any one of the following subjects :

      (c) Graduate candidates must have 50% marks in the teaching subjects chosen for the school teaching methodology. Graduate and PG degree / Diploma food technology / CA / CS / Fashion technology as are not taught at school level so are not eligible for B.Ed. (d) For B.A. (H) / B.Sc. (H) students with 50% marks in aggregate are required in their main exam ( excluding the qualifying/subjects ) and 45% in the subsidiary are mandatory.
      Note :
      (i) The candidate must have passed at least two subjects out of the list of the teaching subjects ( Please see Pages - 94 & 95 ). The cut - off date for counting experience shall be 31st May, 2013. iii) A No - objection certificate is required to be submitted at the time of admission from the current employer.
        B ) Admission Criteria :
        Admission shall be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination ( Graduation ) and performance in Personal Interview. Merit list shall be prepared based on the following : a) 70% weight age will be given to the percentage secured in the qualifying examination. b) 30% weight age will be given to the performance in Personal Interview. Thus the merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks earned by each candidate from out of 100 comprising of percentage of marks obtained in eligibility qualification and marks obtained in Personal Interview. The exact dates of interview will be notified on the University website www.ipu.ac.in in the first
        week of June 2013 by the respective Dean of the
        University School.

        Admission shall be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination ( Graduation ) and performance in Personal Interview. Merit list shall be prepared based on the following :
        I. Percentage of Marks secured in the qualifying examination on a 100 - point scale. II. One mark each for an additional year of relevant
        experience but up to a maximum of 10 additional marks. The cutoff date for counting the experience shall be 31st May, 2013. III. Personal Interview marks on a 40 - point scale. IV. In case of tie between the candidates, i.e. all marks being equal, the candidate for admission will be selected as per the discretion of the admission committee.

        Merit list shall be prepared based on the following :
        i) There will be no Entrance Test. ii) The Admissions shall be based on the weight age of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree and in the Interview/ Viva. iii) The Committee to conduct Interview / Viva shall be constituted by the Hon’ble Vice - Chancellor. iv) Total weight age marks shall be 100 out of which weight age of 60 marks will be awarded on the performance in qualifying degree and 40 marks for performance in Interview / Viva. v) In case of tie between the candidates, i.e. all marks being equal the candidate for admission will be selected as per the discretion of the committee. The cut - off date for counting of experience shall
        be 31st May, 2013.

        A) Eligibility Conditions :
        1. Graduate or equivalent in any subject with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 2. At least one year post - qualification executive /

        B) Admission Criteria :
        Merit list shall be prepared based on the following:
        1. Percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination on a 100 point scale. 2. One mark each for an additional year of relevant
        experience put up to a maximum of 15 additional marks. 3. Personal Interview marks on a 25 point scale. The final merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks earned by each candidate from out of 140 comprising percentage of marks obtained in eligibility qualification, experience and marks obtained in Personal Interview.

        Note* : Admission of students passing out of GGSIPU : The CPI awarded by the University to be treated as equivalent to percentage.

        3. For PG Diploma Programs where no GGSIPU CET will be held

        * Final year students having qualifying percentage may also apply.
        B) Admission Criteria :
        All admissions to be made on the basis of merit followed by the interview by a admission committee. Two seats are reserved for the sponsored candidates fulfilling the required qualifications. The number of sponsored seats can be changed.
        398PG Diploma in Educational Leadership & Management ( Weekend )A) Eligibility Conditions :
        (a) The candidates should be a Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Preference will be given to those working in the education sector and having a degree or diploma in Education. (b) Sponsored Candidates : Two seats are reserved for the sponsored candidates fulfilling the required qualification.
        B) Admission Criteria :
        The eligible candidates shall be selected on the basis of a Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Based on the performance in Written Test, GD and Personal Interview, a merit list shall be prepared. Admissions will be made strictly on merit basis. The merit will be prepared by following criteria:
        (a) The merit list shall be prepared based on the combined merit of the written test of 50 marks, group discussion of 30 marks and personal interview of 20 marks. (b) Inter - Se Merit : In case of a tie, i.e. candidate obtaining equal marks after the combined merit drawn on the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview, the candidate having more experience in the field of education with respect to teaching / administration shall be preferred. If a tie still exists, the candidate older in age shall be preferred.

        Note* : Admission of students passing out of GGSIPU : The CPI awarded by the University to be treated as equivalent to percentage.

        1. Compartment / Supplementary Cases :

        1. Compartment / Supplementary cases at any stage who have appeared for examination(s) and the result of the same is / are not declared by the time of counselling / admission, such candidates will not be
          considered for admission for the academic session 2013-14. e.g. Compartment may be in 1st year / 2nd year / 3rd year or Ist semester / 2nd semester or any other semesters of the qualifying degree examination e.g. in case of LLB program, there should be no compartment in 12th class.
        2. In case the result of the Compartment / Supplementary examination(s) is/are declared by the time of admission / counselling and the candidate fulfills the eligibility conditions as mentioned above, then such candidates would be eligible for the admission for the academic session 2013 – 14.

        2. The Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided :

        a. That they are able to produce the proof of having acquired minimum prescribed qualifications at the time of counselling / admission. OR

        b. If the 12th class / final year / final semester ( as the case may be ) result of qualifying degree / certificate examination is not declared by the concerned Board/University till the date of counselling / admission.

        1. Affidavit on non – judicial stamp paper of Rupee 10/- in the prescribed Proforma. Further, in case the candidate is minor i.e. below 18 years of age; in that case, the affidavit shall be signed by his / her parent / guardian. Candidates / parents / guardians may furthur note that submission of false affidavit is a punishable offence; his / her admission in that case will be provisional subject to the following conditions.
        2. The candidate will have to submit the final result of qualifying degree proving his / her eligibility on or before Last week of September, 2014 to their Concerned Dean / Principal / Director of their respective School / College / Institute where the admission has been granted. The Concerned Dean / Principal / Director must submit the details of the results of these provisionally admitted students within 07 days, i.e. 1st week of October 2014,to the following address duly signed by the authority;

        3. In case the candidate fails to submit his / her final result of qualifying degree in the manner as prescribed under (ii) above to prove his / her eligibility on or before Last week of September, 2014 whatsoever the reason may be, his / her admission will be treated as null and void ( cancelled ) and the entire fee will be forfeited and under no any circumstances he / she will be allowed to appear in the End Term Exam. No extension beyond Last week of September, 2014 shall be allowed by the university in any case.

          The Dean of the Schools / Director / Principal will be responsible to ensure that the eligibility of all students are checked by them to ensure correctness of admissions specially incase of provisional students. The provisional admission will automatically stand cancelled if the candidates fails to submit result in time i.e. Last week of September, 2014.

          Note : Those candidates who are seeking provisional admission due to non – declaration of their final year / final semester / 12th class will however have to provide proof of having passed all papers in all the previous years / semesters of qualifying degree examination ( whichever relevant ).

        c. It is further clarified that provisional admission will be considered only in such cases where the result of Final year / semester of the qualifying degree has not been declared by the concerned Board / University in its totality. In case the result has been declared by the concerned Board / University but it has not been declared in a specific case, for any reason, such cases will NOT be considered under provisional admission category.

        d. Provisionally admitted candidates will have a suffix (Ρ) to the enrollment number printed on their admission slip. Provisionally admitted candidates are advised to check it on receipt of Admission Slip in addition to the other details.

        3. There will be no rounding-off of the percentage of marks of qualifying examination while deciding the basic eligibility of any candidate for admission e.g. if a candidate obtained 49.9% marks in his / her qualifying examination, then it will not be rounded-off to 50%. Therefore, the candidate is not eligible for that program where minimum requirement of marks is 50%. In case candidate for any reason fills the minimum% wrongly in Verification Form, he / she shall be exclusively responsible.

        4. The eligibility in the LLB program will be strictly laid down by Bar Council of India. it is stated that “The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation / post graduation through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such students are not eligible for admission in the law courses.

         

        GGSIPU Age Limit

        2. GGSIPU CET 2014 Age Relaxation

        The upper age limit may be relaxed upto a maximum of fi ve years in exceptional cases by the Admission Officer of the concerned program if he / she is satisfied with the merit of the case. Candidates exceeding the upper age limit upto fi ve years may provisionally apply / appear in the Common Entrance Test. However, they would be required to submit to the satisfaction of the Admission Offi cer an explanation regarding the gap period, i.e., the details of the period spent by him / her after passing the qualifying examination to justify the relaxation. Such explanation should be in the form of an application to the concerned Admission Officer along with supporting documents ( if any ). Any relaxation of age beyond this will be given by the Competent Authority of the University.

        GGSIPU Age Relaxation in the Requirement of Marks for Reserved Category Candidates

        Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel / Physically Handicapped will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirement, irrespective of the fact whether there exists any reservation for any category of such candidates or not.

        Note : Relaxation of any kind, as mentioned above and elsewhere in this Admission Brochure, will be granted to only those candidates, who are able to produce necessary relevant supporting documents as per the Admission Brochure before the Admission Officer present at the Venue of the Counselling / Admission. Therefore, for seeking these relaxation’s, necessary documents must be obtained in advance by all candidates from the Competent Authority as prescribed.

        3. GGSIPU CET 2014 Physical Fitness

        The applicant must be in good mental and physical health and should be free from any physical defect which is likely to interfere with his / her studies including active outdoor duties required of a professional. Accordingly, all the students shall be required to submit a Medical Certificate indicating fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner.

        • sir i had 460 rank in cet code124,can i get admission in any courses included in it and the counselling schedule was supposed to be displayed on 30june but till now no information regarding it was given and also no response was given on any helpline no ple simplify my query
