KEAM 2010 Application Forms

There is only a single application form for applying for the Entrance Examination for admission to all the courses (Medical, Engineering and Architecture). If a candidate submits more than one application his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled.

KEAM 2010 Application Fee :

1. There will be separate application forms for 'General' and 'SC/ST' candidates. (A candidate who does not belong to SC/ST communities will be treated as 'General' candidate for this purpose) The application fee for all candidates will be as follows :

  • General : Rs.700/-
  • SC / ST : Rs.350/-

(a) ST candidates whose annual family income is below Rs.40,000/- are exempted from payment of application fee on condition that they produce income certificate and caste certificate from the Revenue Authority.

2. Candidates choosing a Centre outside the country will have to remit an additional fee of Rs.8,500/- along with the application form by way of a Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a Nationalised Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram (Such candidates should give a local contact number, if available, in their application in the appropriate place). Candidates opting for examination centres outside the country will be allotted the centre of their choice only if their application is accompanied by the DD as mentioned above. In the absence of this, they will be allotted a centre within the country.

3. Availability of KEAM 2010 Application Forms :

(i) Application form and Prospectus can be obtained from selected Post Offices in Kerala and outside the state (to be notified later), on payment of the prescribed fee (Rs.700/- or Rs.350/- as the case may be), by cash. List of Post Offices that issue application form will be notified separately. Application forms will not be available at the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

(ii) Candidates who do not claim any reservation benefit and those belonging to Non-Keralite category can apply 'Online' through the website 'www.cee-kerala.org'. On successful submission, an Application Number will be generated, which may be noted down for any future correspondence with the Office of the CEE. Candidates are required to take printout of the application form.

Candidates can remit the application fee for Rs.700/-in any of the branches of State Bank of India (SBI) using the Chalan contained in the printout of the application form. The original Chalan shall be attached with the application form duly signed and authorized by the State Bank of India authorities on remittance of application fees. They should affix recent passport size photograph duly attested by a competent Gazetted Officer/Head of the school and obtain nativity certificate, course certificate and income certificate in the printout of the Application form itself.

Candidates belonging to 'Keralite' category as defined in Clause 6.1(i), who are not eligible for communal reservation benefit and who wish to be considered for any fee concession/scholarship/any other benefit based on annual family income, that may be announced by the Government/ College/Admitting authority at any time after the submission of application, should submit the income certificate from the concerned revenue authorities.

Application form complete in all respects should be forwarded to the Office of the CEE before the last date specified for submission of application forms. The application procedure will be over only after the completed application form is received in the Office of the CEE. Candidates are directed to keep a copy of the completed application form for future reference. Candidates who do not have access to State Bank of India (SBI) can attach a Demand Draft for Rs.700/- drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations payable at Thiruvananthapuram, as application fee along with the application form (Application Number and Name should be written on the back of the Demand Draft).

Those candidates who choose centre in Dubai will have to make the remittances as per Clause 7.2.2, if applicable, along with their application.

Note: The Application fee/additional fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Submission of KEAM Application Forms 2010: The filled in application form, the omr Sheet and all required certificates/documents along with the demand draft (if applicable), should be enclosed in the envelope addressed to 'The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695 001' (supplied along with the application Form) so as to reach the addressee by registered post/speed post/hand Delivery, before the last date and time notified by the commissioner.
