GFS Institute of Behavioural Science Entrance Exam 2019

Gujarat Forensic Science University – Institute of Behavioral Science invites application form for MPhil Clinical Psychology Entrance Exam for the academic year 2019 – 20.

• Duration of course : Two years ( Regular )
• Total Number of seats : 12 ( Twelve )
• GFSU IBS Tuition Fees : INR. 1,00,000/- ( ₹ One lakh only ) per year + other GFSU fees as applicable.

Entry Requirement : M.A. / M.Sc. degree in Psychology with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate, preferably with special paper in Clinical Psychology. For SC / ST / OBC category, minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Gujarat Forensic Science University Admission procedure : Admission will be based on the merit list of the outcome of entrance examination and interview. In the entrance examination, the candidates will be asked questions from general psychology, social psychology, clinical and abnormal psychology, statistics and research methods. List of candidates selected / admitted will be displayed on the website and will be informed through email and also telephonically.

Duly filled application form ( To be downloaded from the university website www.gfsu.edu.in ) with a demand draft of ₹ 1000/- ( non – refundable ), in favor of “The Registrar, Gujarat Forensic Sciences University”, payable at Gandhinagar should reach the addressee on or before June, 2019. The applicant should write his / her complete name on the backside of the Demand Draft.

The copies of the documents listed below must be attached with the application form :

• Copy of Final mark sheet of M.A. / M.Sc. ( As per entry requirement mentioned above )
• Copy of School leaving certificate
• Duly filled admit card ( original )
• OBC / SCST Certificate, if applicable

Note :

• Original entrance documents should be produced at the time of entrance examination.
• The candidates who have appeared in the final examination of entry qualification may also submit their application forms and must produce the results before the interview. • Applicant will be required to obtain eligibility certificate from Gujarat Forensic Sciences University if he / she has passed the qualifying examination from other than Gujarat Forensic Sciences University. The arrangement for obtaining the same will be made on the spot on the payment of fees of ₹ 250/-

Duly filled in application form along with Demand Draft is to be sent by the specified last date in a sealed envelope marked as “M.Phil. Clinical Psychology ( M.Phil. CP ) 2019” on the left hand side top corner of the envelop and can be submitted either in person or by registered post or by courier on the following address. The duly filled application forms can be submitted in person on all working days between 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM except on 2nd and 4th Saturdays. The applications received after the due date will not be considered for admission.

Gujarat Forensic Science University – Institute of Behavioral Science invites application form for MPhil  Forensic Psychology Entrance Exam for the academic year 2016 – 17.

• Duration of GFSU IBS Course : Two years ( Regular ), divided into four semesters.
• Total Number of GFSU IBS Seats : Nine ( 10 ), NRI seats – Three ( 3 )
• Tuition Fees : INR 50,000/- ( ₹ Fifty thousand ) per Semester + other GFSU fees as applicable. For NRI candidates INR. 1 lakh ( ₹ One Lakh only ) per Semester or equivalent US$ + other GFSU fees as applicable.

Entry Requirement : M.A. / M.Sc. degree in Psychology with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. For SC / ST / OBC category, minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

GFSU IBS 2019 Interview Date :  June, 2019

• Duration of GFSU IBS Course : One year full time ( Two semester )
• Total Number of GFSU IBS Seats : 20 ( 10 seats will be open, 5* seats will be for Government* ). NRI seats Five (5), however, if the NRI seat remains vacant, other candidates can be inducted. [ *Government in – service personnel, who have been working as investigating officers with minimum 5 years experience, not below the rank of superintendent of Police. ]
• GFSU IBS Tuition Fees : INR. 30,000/- ( ₹ Thirty thousand only ) / Semester + other GFSU fees as applicable. For NRI candidates INR. 60,000/- ( ₹ Sixty Thousand only ) / Semester or equivalent US$ + other GFSU fees as applicable.

Regular Entry requirement : M.A. / M.Sc. in Psychology or Science subjects from recognized university.

Gujarat Forensic Science University Admission Procedure : Admission will be given on the basis of merit list based on interview. List of candidates selected/admitted will be displayed on the website and will be informed through email and phone calls.

GFSU IBS 2019 Eligibility

BA / BSc / Bpsy degree in Psychology ( or in counseling psychology, clinical psychology, and applied psychology ) from the recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. For SC / ST / OBC category, minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

GFSU IBS 2019 Exam Pattern

Gujarat Forensic Science Institute of Behavioral Science Admission will be given on the basis of an entrance examination consisting of written test of 100 marks conducted by GFSU. Merit list will be prepared with component weightage of 70% to written entrance examination and 30% to the aggregated marks at bachelor degree level.

List of candidates selected / admitted will be displayed on the website and will be informed through email and phone calls.

GFSU IBS 2019 Eligibility

Minimum educational requirement for admission to his course will be Medical Graduates ( any faculty including Dental, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Homeopathy, Ayurvedic or any other Medicine System – from Allopath and other Indian Medicine System )

GFSU IBS 2019 Exam Pattern

An entrance test will be conducted for the selection of the candidates assessing overall reasoning and aptitude. The merit list will have 40% weight age of entrance test + 60 % of graduation marks. Following selection, a counseling session will be conducted. List of candidates selected / admitted will be displayed on the website and will be informed through email.

In the entrance examination, the candidates will be asked 100 multiple choice questions ( 90 min, 100 marks ). The question paper will be consisting of ( 1 ) Test of reasoning ( 2 ) Numerical Ability ( 3 ) English comprehension and usage ( 4 ) Health and hospital knowledge ( 5 ) Current affairs.
