Banks have set up specialized departments to attend to functions relating to credit cards. Though banks offer some training to their staff to impart essential knowledge to handle these functions as per their requirements, there is a need for an educational programme considering the area of knolwedge essential for such activities. The course aims to provide a comprehensive coverage of the various guidelines / standards / guidance notes issued by RBI / IBA / International bodies etc.

To provide in depth knowledge and understanding of all related areas in credit card business and to develop the professional competence of employees of banks.

IIBF Exam Date 2016

IIBF Credit Card Exam Date : 10th January, 2016 ( Sunday ).
  • Last date for applying for examination : 09th October, 2015
  • Last Date for receipt of Change of Centre Requests at the respective Zonal Offices for the Examinations scheduled for JAN 2016 : 30th November, 2015.
  • Time : Will be given in the Admit letter

IIBF Examination  Application  Forms  will  be  available  at  the  Institute’s  website www.iibf.org.in which could be downloaded and filled in.

IIBF Eligibility 2016

  • Employee of any Bank / Financial Institutions.
  • Graduate of a recognized university or its equivalent.

IIBF Exam Pattern 2016

  • Question Paper will contain approximately 120 objective type multiple choice questions, carrying 100 marks including questions based on case study / case lets.
  • Examination will be of two hours duration.
  • Examination will be conducted in English only.

PhD ( Engineering )1. Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA ( in a 10 - point scale ) in M. Tech. / M.E. or equivalent degree in appropriate discipline with a valid GATE score in the year of admission into the M. Tech. program. ( OR )
B. Tech. / B.E. or equivalent degree in appropriate discipline with minimum 70% marks or 7.5 CGPA ( in a 10 - point scale ) with a valid GATE score or having secured a UGC / CSIR - NET JRF. All candidates must have a consistently good academic record. Provisional certificate is acceptable. ( OR )
Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA ( in a 10 - point scale ) in Master of Science or equivalent degree in appropriate discipline with consistently good academic record and a valid GATE score or having secured a UGC / CSIR - NET JRF. Provisional certificate is acceptable.
2. Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA ( in 10 point scale ) is required in all other examinations. A single relaxation up to 10% marks either at Xth or XIIth level examination or equivalent is permitted.
PhD ( Basic Science )1. Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA ( in a 10 - point scale ) in the Master’s or equivalent degree in appropriate discipline with consistently good academic record. Provisional certificate is acceptable.
2. Minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA ( in a 10 - point scale ) in the Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in appropriate discipline with consistently good academic record. Provisional certificate is acceptable.
3. Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA ( in a 10 - point scale ) is required in all other examinations. A single relaxation up to 10% marks either at Xth or XIIth level examination or equivalent is permitted.
4. The candidate must have a valid GATE score or have secured a UGC / CSIR - NET JRF.

2. Minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA ( in a 10 - point scale ) in the Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in appropriate discipline with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Provisional certificate is acceptable.
3. Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA ( in a 10 - point scale ) is required in all other examinations. A single relaxation up to 10% marks either at Xth or XIIth level examination or equivalent is permitted.
4. The candidate must have a valid GATE score or have secured a UGC / CSIR - NET JRF / INSPIRE.
