Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Maharshtra Entrance Examination for Teachers for the academic session 2019.
Maharashtra TET 2019 Eligibility
For primary teachers
- The applicants should have completed Senior Secondary ( or equivalent ) exam with at least 50% marks and have passed ( or in final year ) 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- The candidates who have completed their Senior Secondary ( or equivalent ) exam with at least 45% marks and have passed ( or in final year ) 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE ( Recognition Norms and Procedure ), Regulations can apply too OR
- The applicants should have completed Senior Secondary ( or equivalent ) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed ( or appearing in final year ) 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education ( B.El.Ed ) are also considered eligible.
For upper primary teachers
- Those who have done graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education ( B.Ed ) are eligible OR
- Candidates securing at least 45% marks in graduation and who have passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education ( B.Ed ), in accordance with NCTE, can also apply OR
- The candidates must hold graduation degree and should have passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- Those who passed their Senior Secondary ( or its equivalent ) with minimum 50% marks and have passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education ( B.El.Ed ) are eligible.
Age Limit: The minimum age limit of the candidates applying for MAHATET 2019 is 18 years.
Maharashtra TET 2019 Exam Pattern
- Only objective types of questions will be asked.
- Total no of questions would be 150
- Question paper carries of 150marks
- Duration would be of 1 1/2 hrs.

Maharashtra TET 2019 Application Form
How to apply
- The interested candidates can download the application form for Maharashtra TET 2019 from the official website of Maharashtra State Council of Examination www.mahatet.in..
- To download the application form, the candidates have to go to mahatet.in.
- Download the information brochure and read it carefully.
- The candidates must apply for Maharashtra TET 2019 only after reading the information brochure.
- The procedure for applying is completely online.
- Candidates must have scanned image of the recent photograph along with the signature of the candidate.
- The images of photograph and signature must be in JPG format.
- No other format will be accepted by the system.
- Candidates must have a valid Email ID.
Application fee
- Candidates have to pay the application fee of the following
- OBC / SBC / Open / VJNT – ₹500/- for one paper, ₹800/- for two papers.
- SC / ST and Differently abled person – ₹250/- for one paper, ₹400/- for two papers.
- Application fee can be deposited through either Online Payment or SBI Challan.
- For online payment, Select the payment option ( i.e. Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card )
Maharashtra TET 2019 Admit Card
- Candidates can download the admit card by providing the required login details.
- Admit cards will be available on the official website.
- Authority will release the admit cards in November 2019.
- Admit card is marked with the address and code of the examination center.
- After the checking of admit card and one valid photo ID proof, examinees will be allowed to enter the examination center.
Maharashtra TET 2019 Results
- The result will show the marks secured by the candidate.
- Candidates can check the result on www.mahatet.in.
- The printed copy of the result has to be produced at the time of document verification.
- At the time of the interview for the recruitment the result will be required.
