Manipal University Admission Eligibilty Criteria 2018
MBBS
- Pass in 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology taken together
MD / MS / PG Diploma
- Candidates Should Pass in MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India
- Subject to change as per the guidelines received from the concerned statutory body
MSC ( Medical )
- Candidates should have passed BSc with at least one subject of Biological Sciences or BAMS or MBBS or BHMS or BPT or BPharm; any other professional graduate degree from a recognized University; BSc with Physics and Chemistry optional.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
DM
- MD in General Medicine or Pediatrics from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Permanent registration with Medical Council of India
MCH
- MS in General Surgery from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Permanent registration with Medical Council of India
MPHIL ( Psychiatric Social Work )
- Candidates should have passed full time MSW ( Social Work ) from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of the Master’s Degree course as a whole

MSC ( Medical )
Manipal Entrance Test – 2018
- Exam Duration-2 hours and consists of 3 sections. The approximate distribution of questions is as follows
- Section1- Zoology ( 40 )
- Section2-Botany ( 40 )
- Section3- Chemistry including Biochemistry ( 40 )
- The question paper is of multiple choice questions ( MCQ ) of the objective type, covering the syllabus of BSc level followed by major Indian Universities

- Exam Pattern based on SS NEET.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education Selection Test 2018
- Duration: 1:30 hours. The test consists of 80 Multiple choice questions covering a wide range of topics from various branches of social work such as historical beginnings of the discipline, basic social work concepts, dynamics of human behavior, working with individuals and groups, family & child welfare, women welfare, community welfare, Psychiatric social work, Industrial Psychology, Statistics & research Methodology.
- All questions carry equal marks. The test performance will carry maximum of 70 points

- Courses with Entrance test ₹ 2,000 ( Application fees ₹ 600/- + Entrance Test fee ₹ 1,400/- )
- Courses without Entrance test ₹ 600/- ( Application ₹ 600/- )
- Online payment can be donrthrough Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking
- A Demand Draft has to be made in favor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, payable at Manipal or Udupi. The details ( DD number, DD issuing date, DD issuing bank ) should be filled up in the online application form and the Demand Draft must be couriered to the following address

Manipal University Admission Admit Card 2018
- The e-hall ticket is important because it has candidate’s e-hall ticket number, the courses candidate have applied for, address of the test centre, and the date and time of candidate’s test.
- The system generates the e-hall ticket 24 hours after candidate have booked candidate’s schedule through the online test booking system.
- It is issued to applicants who book their slots using the online test booking system before the booking end date for respective courses as per the booking schedule.
- If there are any discrepancies, please do not hesitate to bring it to our notice.
- Candidate can get candidate’s e-hall ticket from here www.manipalotbs.com. To do that candidate will need to specify candidate’s application form number and online test booking password to download it.
- A copy of candidate’s e-hall ticket will also be emailed to canditate. ( Please be sure to provide the correct email address in candidate’s application form )

MD/ MS / PG Diploma
- Candidates will be selected through All India Manipal Entrance Test MET 2018
MSc in Forensic Science
- Candidates will be selected basis on aptitude test and personal interview
DM / MCH
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of valid rank obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Super Specialty NEET-SS 2018
MPHIL ( Psychiatric Social Work )
- Candidates will be selected through departmental written test and interview
